"I've been staying at Mardis Gras since it opened, and always enjoyed the property. Currently, they're undergoing a major renovation, it's really looking great, and I'm super excited to see the final result. The morning crew at the front desk, took the best care of me while checking in. I originally booked a standard room, and they gave me a generous upgrade to a very nice renovated suite. They were very polite, helpful, and did everything imaginable to make sure my stay was great. We were sad to find the pool closed, but again, the staff exemplified what hospitality is all about and offered other ways for us to have a 5 star experience, and did it upfront, happily, and without making us feel like an imposition. There’s much to say about the whole place, but what’s important is this: I encountered directly, at least 7 staff, all of whom were exceptional.
