"We booked Casa Sunzal at the last minute because our first accommodation was closed and canceled our reservation, but we couldn’t have been happier to end up at Casa Sunzal! The staff was so kind and helped us book surfing guides, board rentals, and a trip to Tamanique waterfall! The food was delicious and they were so accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Such a fun and unique hotel! Loved this place and would definitely come back. Everything is well kept. They wash the windows daily to assure you are able to see your view clearly. The view of the ocean and the sounds of the ocean are amazing, really cool to watch the surfers too. It's fully tinted on the outside so no one can see inside, (with the exception of at night with the lights on, so close the curtains when changing at night). Pool is well kept. The breakfast is made to order and very good! They have a self serve check out system for snacks and drinks. Translation app was used a lot but only because my Spanish is not great haha. There is a restaurant right outside the hotel that is really good but there was not much else in walking distance. The hotel set up our transportation to the airport, we did not have cash so we paid them and they paid the taxi. They communicate very fast and are very nice and accommodating! "

"This was such a great hotel. The views from the balcony room were so beautiful. I think we were the only guests at the time of our stay, we stayed two nights. It was very peaceful. They offered made to order breakfast that they brought to the room for us. They also had a restaurant that they let us decide if we wanted to eat in our room or at the restaurant. Location is great for the town. Everything we had was really good. The town is great to see the authentic culture of El Salvador. There is a bar, restaurants, and shops. We did not visit Santa Ana, but we did visit Cafe Albania in Apaneca which was only a 30 min uber. Overall, this a great place to stay, great beds, great views. Something different than the expensive commercial hotels."

"I love the fact that the houses, well they called Villas , are build in the gorgeous Mountains, every single villa have this absolutely stunning view of the ocean They are equipped with absolutely everything that you need inside Very cozy bed, they even have the porch in the front of the Villa I have been into a beautiful hotel room But nothing like this villas I absolutely recommended, if you want to have a piece of mind, this is the place to go The view that every villa have is pretty amazing "

"We were super happy with our stay here! The area is beautiful and a 2 min walk to oceanfront restaurants/bars. The hotel seemed new and everything was very clean. Comfortable beds, AC unit, large shower with hot water and great water pressure. Secure parking lot, friendly staff. Wish we could’ve stayed longer and would definitely stay here again! "

The beach below is spectacular. The resident parakeet Pistachio completely made my day flying on my shoulder and giving me a smooch!!! We can’t wait to return for our wedding on the rooftop patio next year:)"

"I need to express how beautiful this property was. The pictures on websites are exactly as posted. We had the LOFT APARTMENT. Just awesome. Full Kitchen, Living Room, etc. Everything we needed. I could trade my home and just live there forever. The pool is beautiful and every day they prepare a very large lounge chair and umbrella with your name(s) on it. NINA is #1 and runs a great operation. She does everything. We needed some items from the store across the street, and she got there before I did and already had the items on the counter ready to pay for me. I even saw her working on a guest's motorcycle. We felt comfortable with her, like a dear friend. All the staff was Great! I already wrote a review about the restaurant and staff while I was there. We never ate at any other restaurant during our stay. Kudos needs to go out to: Jonathan of Security (On Top of it). Edwin who even before we flew to El Salvador, helped me arrange things and answered questions AND drove us to San Salvador safely after Check-Out. Deysi, Luis, and Adrian also was great! OH, and I can't forget ALEXIS (I named him "The Professor") because he goes over every detail at Check-In and you better be ready and pay attention - take notes - like in school - he takes his job very serious. Which is the way it should be. Great Job! He said that he will always remember me as "The Funny Guy" - I will take that as a compliment - but he was funnier! I hope to meet with all again in the future! Thank you! David"
