"I booked a room for prefered floor and a lounge access. It costed more than just regular room, but it was worth it. The view from the room was great and the launge was fabulous. We ate breakfast everyay at the lounge and enjoied the cocktail hour with Champagne at the lounge. The night view from there was brethtaking. The staff were all competent, multilingual and helpful. My wife and I had a medical issue during our stay (unrelated to Japan or the hotel), and the staff were incredibly helpful and professional, and were happy to assist with our many (probably bizarre) requests.
