"Its a lovely hotel. Only hotel that gave me complimentary water. Breakfast buffet was fabulous. Staff attended to me promptly. Rooms are neat and big and the ambience is very welcoming. Only issue is the distance. Its located along the highway on the outskirts of town. I cant say its worth the distance (1hr 30mins from town) but its a lovely hotel"

"Grand hotel Cappuggi did not disappoint. I stayed with my 3 children for 10 nights end of june , start of july. Very reasonably priced 4* hotel experience haf by all. A little out of town (2 miles) but free shuttle bus (or taxi if not available) shows excellent customer care. Receptionists very helpful, cleaners nice and cheerful. Fabulous swimming pool essential in 38° temperatures. Football and tennis available. Ball provided keeping my boys well entertained. Thiroughly recommend this hotel as a point from where to explore Tuscany and further afield. "

During the day can get warm but overnight there were no issues. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Overall we highly recommend this property. "

Guests often take advantage of the nearby hiking trails, visit the Marconi Museum, or make the scenic trip to the Basilica of San Luca. That said, some visitors have found the property a bit tricky to locate at first, citing its remote position and the presence of several entrance gates as potential challenges during arrival."

"Wonderful stay off the Via Degli Dei week long trail from Belogna to Florence. We walked form the trial to the hotel, and then paid for them to drop us back on to the trial. Fabulous food and atmosphere!"

"We had a great experience here. It was clean, with great staff, and had good complimentary breakfast every morning. What more can you ask for? It’s also in the heart of Prato, a fairly quiet community, with easy access to Florence. The train station is a 10 minute walk away. Pay 2.80 Euros for a one-way ticket from Prato Centrale to Firenze Santa Maria Novella station. The trains back to Prato run pretty late as well, so you don’t have to worry about rushing back to the hotel. If we were to come back to Florence (and vicinity) I would definitely consider staying here again."
