"The hotel was little old on the outside and it was hard to find the right building. The staff was good and the waiter did know a lot of the local wines.

"This hotel was very comfortable to stay in with friendly and accommodating staff. The included breakfast was fine, not sure about the dinners as we chose to eat out. The room was clean and very comfortable for the week. Pool table, ping pong and table football all well appreciated by the teens we had on the ski trip. Easy to walk to Clotes lift and you are right in the village. Bring ear plugs for party nights in the town - but we only heard noise on 1-2 nights and it wasn't bad. Good skis...

"Went for a last min Friday-Weds ski trip. This was one of the few hotels that could accommodate those days without breaking the bank - câŹ95 pn B&B (conti breakfast + cooked eggs on request).
Traditional decor but fine for a basic trip. Room was sparse but bright and clean with a great view. Good shower. Didn't try evening meals but with so much choice in town there's no point. Brilliant location nr Clotes or 10min walk to Sportinia lift. A bit of street noise through the double glazing but I...

"We stayed at Hotel Alvanche in Sauze DâOulx for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views.
The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotelâs heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go...

"Wonderful stay 'down the hill' but next to the fastest way to 'the top of the resort' for 9am. Great breakfast, well connected by the local bus services and a little 15-20min walk downhill if you go to Sauze for Apre and Food"

"Love this place! A little off of the beaten track, but worth it. Lots of great restaurants nearby and close enough to everything you need. A bit of a hike to the railway station, so make sure you have comfy shoes and good wheels on your suitcase. "

"We enjoyed our stay here. Itâs a fairly low key hotel in a low key town but very peaceful and friendly. The owners are very family focussed and there is a childrenâs toy area in the corner of the small restaurant. Thereâs a boot room downstairs for storing ski gear (and I believe my bikes in the summer). The set and a la carte menus are good if limited in choice which suited us. Itâs necessary to bookâŠas is the case with anywhere in Termignon and the other Val Cenis villages. "

"This is a very nice hotel, with wonderful staff. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast is ample and varied -- eggs, bacon, pastries, yogurt, cereal, toast, juices, coffees, etc. The hotel is in the exact center of town. There is extremely limited parking near the hotel, but lots of it about ten minutes' walk away. "
"The location of this property was ideal as we were there to watch our son compete at the Special Olympics Worlds! We were within walking distance to the ski hill, restaurants and many shops. Didn't even have to use our rental as it was safely parked in the underground parking through the hotel. The only thing better than the location was the staff!!! My bad if i spell names wrong but Luka from the afternoon shift was amazing. He set us up with reservations for dinners at places that were so amazing, that i can't thank him enough. If you get the opportunity to go to Sestriere and get to have the privilege to stay at this hotel, do it! "

"It was such a pleasure to stay at this unique establishment. The hosts take you in welcoming the place explaining their unique way of life. The location is great, next to parking lot right in town. The sauna on a rooftop with a stargazing bubble and mountain views is spectacular. The charcuterie plate serves thick cuts of local meats and cheese, donât miss it. The dog Neige is a great St. Bernard welcoming you along with two cats."

"The best location in the town. Just few steps from the lift.
Dinner is very good and there are options for vegetarians and gluten free. But the breakfast is poor.
Large and comfort rooms (a little old)"

The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly.
We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldnât hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze DâOulx."
"We stay here for two nights as part of our 2 week EU trip! Absolute best location for us!withe the ski lift, the rental place was right beside hotel along with a great spot to eat, made everything super easy! (make reservations) the staff was accommodating, had great recommendations, was able to get all 5 of us into the spa for massages, and we all enjoyed the pool/sauna/ relaxation areas after being on the MTN.
We had two suites and absolutely canât wait to plan a longer ski trip here!
We paid the extra to park in garage, 18 euros and it was nice to have a ready to go car from the ice/snow!
Thanks for making our trip great! "
"An amazing concept which was clean and tidy. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Would recommend even if not intending to ski (we were passing through en route home from Greece)"
