"La Mezzaluna is a short walk from Barga Gallicano train station, and buses to Lucca. Rita is amazingly hospitable & welcoming, and did so much to make our stay enjoyable. Rooms are very nice, buffet breakfast set us up for the day. There is a bus up to Barga during the day, and a taxi back in evening.If you visit Barga, this is the place to stay. "

"Hotellet är i oerhört dåligt skick, stämmer absolut inte överens med bilderna. Trasiga möbler, trasig duschkabin, halvtrasiga sängar. Gammal aircondition som inte gick att använda pga den lät för mycket. Poolen var det ända som gjorde vistelsen okej, dock var även den inte underhållen, kakelplattor som lossnat. Dålig service, wifi fungerade inte i rummen och tv-dosan saknades. Trots att vi sade till om detta blev det inte åtgärdat."

"The food at the restaurant was terrible. I ordered a bottle of wine and they sent another that was 3 times the price without telling me. They threw us out because they said they had to set up for breakfast while they had other tables still sitting. We were still drinking our wine. The only person that was nice at this place was the person at reception. "

"Very disappointed with this hotel. Rude unhelpful staff. “S.P.A.” hotel yet you have to pay 35€ per person to use the pool. There is a kitchenette in your room but you’re not allowed to use it. There aren’t even glasses to drink out of. Our balcony was completely flooded we reported it on day one and no one came to fix it. There is a kids club but they just put on movies and feed the kids cake. Would not recommend at all"
