I could see this would have once been a resort but now the paints peeling, bathrooms fixtures all old, towels were all well used. Just a 2-3 star property with a comfortable stay. This town wqs deserted as well. We went out to get some food at around 6:3000pm but the town was all dark and shutters were closed...

"The villa, the food, the professional staff, and the properties beautiful gardens, facilities and grounds were excellent. The breakfast was excellent and memorable. Though a shuttles and rides to island sites could be arranged, we only used a driver once and the driver was thoughtful, safe and informative. We rented a car for the week and experienced moped mania on the many small roadways…without incident or accident safely; however, if you never driven on the left side of the roadway or not use to bumper to bumper traffic during rush hours 8am-6pm then renting a moped if you plan on visiting a lot of places to include eating out in restaurants highly rated. We navigated through everything well so no issues or complaints."

Ramayana Candidasa is a quiet and restful haven on beautifully kept tropical surrounds. The restaurant has everything you need with enough choice for your food requirements, or you can get pickup organised from several of the restaurants in town. Candi Dasa in an area of Bali that is still removed from much of the western commercialisation overtaking the south and west so if you are looking for shopping malls and brand name knock offs, and western style coffee shops, pizza and hamburgers then this is not your destination and the reason we still love Candi Dasa.
