"Comfortable stay in predictable Holiday Inn Express environment. Close to M4 yet quiet. My Son loved a trip over to the Porsche showroom over the road and they were very accommodating. Breakfast was busy but well controlled. Just a shame (not the Hotel's problem) that there are no late night public transport options from Cardiff. We went to a concert but had to drive back. "

"I absolutely love this hotel from the moment I walked in to waking up in the morning. Everybody couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were outstanding and the beds were fabulous. Not to mention the pillows which were out of this world. I need a set!!!"

"Unfortunately we didn't stay the night, we had to leave due to family circumstances. We had a lovely welcome at reception. The gentleman on duty was really helpful and supportive. The room was excellent, as was the view. Everything in the hotel was fresh and clean. "

"Excellent stay in a very nice hotel in quiet country surrounds. Staff were outstanding from reception into the bar and the dining room. Llechwen Hall is now my 'go to' hotel for my frequent business trips to South Wales"

"The hotel looks pretty tired from outside but rooms and reception area had been updated to an excellent standard. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices. Only slightly negative comment is that the breakfast was served in a large ball room which lacked atmosphere. A few flower arrangements separating the tables from the large dance floor would have made the difference."

"Booked it same day, the room was on the 4th floor and as it was during the heatwave, was a bit warm, they did provide us with couple of fans that helped. It was a lovely room with a sofa, TV and vanity table. A nice view of trees and sunset. It was clean everywhere. "

"Absoulety gorgeous hotel, food, service was incredible and staff were so welcoming warm and professional. Other than the spa lady this morning around half 10 I wasn’t sure of her name, however myself and my husband were having a swim before we checked out at 11 and the spa was empty and we were laughing and told to keep the noise down in quite a rude manner. I found it inappropriate as no one else was using the facilities and pool or spa at the time and we were the only ones there I appreciate keeping the noise to a minimal level for others to relax and we were very curtious and conscious of this. It was rather patronising and rose to end the experience. However the spa lady prior the day before and in the morning up until 10.30 was very warm and welcoming offering beverages and going above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory stay! Thanks so much we’ll be coming again"

"The hotel staff were very good, the room clean & beds good. We had a good night with undisturbed sleep & a hearty breakfast. The hotel building is in need of some TLC though, threadbare/frayed stair carpets, the chair in our room needed reupholstering, paint work, woodwork & door frames particularly at suitcase height were bashed & chipped. The overall impression is good though - clean & pleasant smelling, but on closer inspection it is tired & needs refreshing."

"Our room was really spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bed itself was huge. There is a restaurant/ bar attached which served nice drinks and had a nice seating area outdoors. The staff were very welcoming and checking in and out was easy. We stayed in this hotel as we were attending a concert in the Principality Stadium. It was the perfect location for this as it was only a 15 minute walk from the hotel."
