"Dinner was delicious! Bed was super comfortable and staff were so friendly and helpful... even gave us a small jug of fresh milk for our room. Suggestion: would have been nice if there were some board games/cards in the pub to pass our time. There was a dart board but tables were infront of it. But overall, lovely stay and would definately stay again! "

"The Staff are wonderful. Our room was very nice. The only item we find difficult is the cost of breakfast (£18 each) but there are choices outside of the Hotel. Apart from that we always choose the Hotel and will continue to do so - in 4 weeks we'll be back."

"Has electric car charging facilities. This was our 5th stay at this hotel and we will come back again. Breakfast is generously served and delicious. Deer in the garden too. Lovely garden views at rear."

"Just returned from a weekend stay with my boyfriend and it was just perfect from start to finish. Lots of free parking and huge outdoor areas to explore. We had such a warm welcome by Karen on Reception. Our room was fantastic, a super size bed with a lovely balcony, a huge bathroom with bath and walk in shower. It was very clean and spacious. The breakfast was good with all the options you’d expect from a cooked breakfast to continental. We used the spa facilities which were fab and not too crowded. All staff were extremely helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will definitely be returning. "

"I was running late and they rang me to make sure they would be there when i arrived, great service. Warm welcome quick check in, took us to our room carrying our bag, great service. Furnishing all the way to room excellent. Room was huge (told it was one of the smaller ones! Huge settee with a large telly above it. What looked like a full kitchen setup ie. Cooker hob sink plenty in a slim units well equipped. A huge very comfy king size bed. At the end of the room was a free standing roll top bath. Also a bathroom which had a large shower with good water pressure(i like a good shower) We didnt eat as it was to late but if the food matches the room you can not go wrong. And this was an excellent price."

"Super friendly, helpful staff who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful location. Dog friendly and convenient for walks from the hotel with access to Sheringham Park. The food was excellent, but not always consistent - I had sea bass on one day which was so delicious (and as described in the menu) that I decided to have it again on my last night, but it was no where near as good - missing the chives in the mash, the dill sauce on the fish and not served with peas all as described in the menu. I’m guessing it was a different chef on duty. I was disappointed with a mix up/misunderstanding about my room - but I think that was because of Expedia, not the fault of the hotel. And the hotel did try to resolve it. I will definitely return and will know which room to request next time!"

"Beautiful old building which has had good levels of investment into making it a fine hotel. Very well located in the centre of town but with plenty of nearby parking. Well appointed, if small, rooms, attentive and welcoming staff although needed more staff at breakfast as many guests had to wait too long to be seated. Breakfast was excellent though, lots of choice and good quality."
