"Absolutely amazing!
What a beautiful and comfortable place. The staff at both the hotel were lovely and helpful.
I highly recommend!
They have bikes you can borrow, I would suggest taking them for a ride in the nearby paths. "

"Enough space for family of four and probably for more, very nice breakfast with home-made yogurt, great drinks with fresh baguettes, croissants, and pain-au-chocolats.
Great hospitality and flexibility of the host will be remembered for a long time."

"Amazing stay at a wonderful venue. The wonderful staff made us feel like home from the moment of checking in. The castle and its surroundings are beautiful and it was a perfect start of our vaccination where we really got to slow down and just enjoy life. We travelled with our 3 year old, and he enjoyed as much as his parents, thank you to the staff who made his and our stay so special. We enjoyed the Michelin worthy restaurant all 3 nights and can’t recommend it enough.

"This is simply an extraordinary B&B. The owner, Veronique, was welcoming and informative. The cottage was modern, artfully decorated and was situated above a scenic river. Everything was clean and the breakfast fresh and delightful. This is one of the best B&B’s we have visited. It is a true gem and that should not be missed on a trip to Giverny and environs. "

Le Moulin de Fourges
10/10 Excellent
"Staying at Le Moulin de Fourges was like stepping into a storybook. Nestled along a peaceful river in the Normandy countryside, this beautifully restored 18th-century watermill is full of character, charm, and serenity.
The setting is absolutely magical — surrounded by lush greenery, a gently flowing stream, and flower-lined paths. It’s the kind of place that makes you instantly slow down and breathe a little deeper. Every corner of the property has been thoughtfully designed, blending rustic elegance with modern comfort.
Our room was warm and inviting, with lovely views and a perfect mix of authentic French decor and cozy touches. The attention to detail was evident everywhere — from the linens and furnishings to the freshly prepared breakfast served with care and a smile.
The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel like cherished guests rather than just travelers passing through. Their warmth and hospitality truly elevated our stay.
Le Moulin de Fourges is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience. Peaceful, picturesque, and filled with soul, it was the perfect stop on our journey and a place we would return to in a heartbeat."
"Such a great spot! Beautiful views, quiet area despite the train that passed directly behind the hotel. We barely heard it. We had a triple which was actually two rooms. Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms and nice bathroom. Dinner in the restaurant t was delicious. The best pork I’ve ever had. Nice bar patio area. Would definitely recommend d this property. "
"An absolutely beautiful little hotel set in a gorgeous location near to the banks of the Seine. The guesthouse itself is simply fantastic and Bruno and Laurent are the perfect hosts, genuinely making you feel at home.
As everyone else mentions the breakfast is delicious and plentiful! If you try anything the cheeses are amazing - I’d have gladly foregone my evening meal to eat them with a glass of local red. We’re already plotting ways to get back soon! "
"Superbe view of the paysage, comfortable, clean, tranquil, great amenities including outdoor pool, delicious dining, spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Exquisite petit-déjeuner. "
"This a wonderfully quiet location with an awesome bakery around the corner. Realize this location is about an hour away from Paris and you need a car or be ready for rides o. The mass transit with many changes. I also recommend dropping by a bistro in Les Mureaux named Le CELTIQUE. The owner loved meeting us and was an absolute joy. His kitchen was closed for the evening so he went down the street for us and ordered pizza and calzones for us without us prompting. A genuine wonderful person. Expedia doesn’t mention that laundry has an extra charge, so beware; though the owner, once contacted was very kind and took care of the matter. Also Expedia lists a private bathroom; but the bathroom are shared. They were very clean and a did not see a problem with the shared bathroom at all.
Overall, it was clean, quiet and a great place to spend a few days!"
"Very nice hotel in a very quiet and beautifully landscaped area. The staff is super nice, the decor makes you feel like in a castle, from the room decoration to the lobby and the yard. I did a walk around the castle and they also have a garden, growing their own food. I wish I had a breakfast or dinner in here but I was there only for a few hours of sleep.
Thanks for the welcome."
"I stayed 3 nights this past June. It was lovely! The house was built in the 20's and is so pretty. My room was on a corner, overlooking the garden. Plenty big for just me. The bathroom was newly renovated and beautiful. The owner, Arthur, is very nice and enjoys telling about the history of the property. His girlfriend Meng operates the attached restaurant, Maison Coquelin. I ate there every night! The petite breakfast, which comes with the room, served the best croissants I've ever had. I spent 1 day in La Roche-Guyon visiting the castle (highly recommend the 250 steps up to the dungeon, fabulous view) and exploring the small town. I also spent a day in Giverny (10 minute drive) visiting Monet's home and gardens. 1 hour from Paris makes this an easy place to visit."
"Room was extremely small, no bed side cabinets, no wardrobe, bathroom ok. Hotel do not provide any fans in hot weather.
Close to train station if you want visit Paris. Close supermarket
Ok to stay for 1 night only "
"Adorable! We absolutely loved this place, it was so charming and the staff were lovely. Pretty easy to find, parking on site. Walked around the river and the village. We were there long enough to visit the castle nearby but we would have if had time. "
"The interior of the property is lovely as is the front of the building. However when you pull into the back parking lot the first impression is disappointing. That would be my only negative comment. The staff very friendly, the rooms clean, very nice bathroom. "
"The staff were very welcoming and seemed yo appreciate my efforts to communicate in very limited French. Managed to be understood. Great location - very close to Giverny. Plenty of food options ... in house dining and many restaurants in neighbouring Vernon "
"A lovely place close to the Royal Jump and convenient for Giverny, Beauvais & Amiens. The gardens are lovely, the rooms immaculate and there is a spa on site. The only drawback is the lack of local eating out options."
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
We should have known something was off from the state of the building and car park. The cars all look abandoned and many have flat tyres. The hotel is like something from a horror film. Mostly unlit and feels abandoned and run down.
As two females we immediately felt unsafe. This was expounded when the man on reception charged us more than the agreed price and we felt too intimidated to argue.
We were shown to a room at the fair end of the hotel on a dingy corridor. The door looked like it had been jimmyed open with a crowbar at some point, the latch was loose and the door didn't lock from the inside.
We asked to be moved rooms and were put in one nearer reception. We spoke to the receptionist and asked him to show us that the door couldn't be opened with the keycard when the door was locked from the inside. We put our bags on our beds and went to dinner.
When we returned our bags had been moved and something had changed with the lock because you could open it from the outside with the keycard even if the door was locked from the inside so we didn't feel safe.
We went to reception and said we didn't feel safe and didn't want to stay. The receptionist wouldn't refund us and phoned the manager who was abusive on the phone to us so we left.
The following morning we returned to give the keycard back and get a refund. They refused because 'we'd booked online' even though we'd paid by card at the hotel.
There is very wrong with this hotel. AVOID"
"This is the first time experience staying in below standard hotel
The hotel that I paid £77+ doesn’t have a tea or coffee in his room
The toilet doesn’t have full toilet tissue
I left the hotel this morning before 9 o’clock to look for another hotel
It was painful"
"This hotel have been is under new again from the last time stay hope it will be better next time they are clearly going through renovations….
I like the location is convenient to my work area
The staff is lay back no issue I did not much from except the coffee pads in the morning "
