Salamanca was very interesting with its cathedrals and town square. I should have stayed longer. Note that restaurants do not open until 8pm and it is impossible to find a coffee shop open before 8am. Tourist sites all open at 10am.

Salamanca is a beautiful city. With a lot of history, a very special architecture, a lot to see, visit, learn about. Lots of young people because it is a university city, therefore it is a very vibrant city. We feel very safe and comfortable.

Salamanca is a beautiful place and would highly recommend a visit. A couple of nights is enough to explore all the sites.
"This hotel is fabulous. Excellent location in beautiful Salamanca. Close to Plaza Mayor and all the sights. The room has a beautiful wooden floor, lots of light, and is tastefully decorated. The beds were large and comfortable. The receptionist was welcoming and spent a lot of time showing us all the sights on a map. We shall definitely return."
"Best of all was the incredible situacion in front of the new cathedral and just ten minutes walking from the Plaza Mayor, the very city center. Its a nice hotel"
"Fantastic location! Short walk to everything you want to see. Super close by Grocery store and endless cafes and shops. I appreciated the easy access into the building and apartment. The apartment is super clean and modern and has everything you need (except basics salt, sugar, oil etc) surprisingly comfortable bed and perfect amount of space for our family. AC is not adjustable but is set at a very comfortable temperature. We heard zero street noise. Also Loved having the option to store our luggage within the building in secure lockers so we could take advantage of the rest of the day. Each locker was deep and cost 1€ and no time limit. We would stay in these apartments again!! "
"Honestly we have stayed in thousands of hotels and Hotel Rector would be in our top 10 - if you go to Salamanca this is the hotel to stay at. The staff especially Ignatius and Andrea went beyond the norms of reception - we would recommend the hotel it was fantastic."
"Just a 10 minute stroll to the bustling area of shops, food-path zones, restaurants and cafes. This hotel surprised us with a fantastic double room that allowed my spouse to wake early and enjoy coffee without disturbing me. The breakfast was top notch, with great coffee.
Parking is affordable and easy with the garage next door- it has a car elevator! "

"Historic, beautiful, friendly and knowledgeable staff combined with reasonable rates will bring us back any time we visit the city. Can’t recommend highly enough. "
"Excellent hotel on all fronts.
Location is amazing, right smack bang in the middle of the old town. Staff were super helpful and very proactive in helping us with luggage, onward travel arrangements and amenities.
Breakfast buffet is good, with lots of Spanish options fresh seasonal fruit and also more traditional breakfast fare.
I do note that there was a small issue in our room that caused some inconvenience, but it was rectified quickly and professionally."
"Hi. Excellent stay here park just over the road with an excellent doggy play area.
Really close to all the sightseeing.
Basement parking very handy, tight spaces but no problem."
"The apartment itself was amazing and the location was ideal. The main problem was communication.
The property managers were unprofessional and were not easy to reach. We contacted them one night because there was no hot water and it took them almost 24 hours to respond and resolve the issue, despite messaging them via Expedia, and on WhatsApp. I would like to point out that guests from other rooms didn’t have hot water either. The worst part was that they when they finally did respond (again, almost 24 hours later), the problem had already been resolved and they acted like there was never a problem to begin with, essentially gaslighting their guests, instead of immediately responding, acknowledging the problem, and communicating regarding when it would be resolved."
"Location was ideal. 3 blocks from heart of town. But the best were the employees. Talk about friendly, pleasant, helpful, thoughtful and wonderful people. Very attentive to every detail. "
