"I stayed two nights at this hotel. My room was a bit different than advertised. I had a skylight and a portal, so the room was large but a bit dark and with no view other than the sky. The furniture was a bit dated, but in good shape and the bed was comfortable, although the desk in my room was a bit damaged (laminate missing). However, the bathroom was newly renovated and very upscale which was nice. It was great to have a nice hot shower to soothe the muscles after hiking. Breakfast was also great--much better than I expected. Highly recommend paying the extra money. Finally, a bonus! The hotel comes with the Ticino pass, and I made excellent use of this. Overall, I would 100% stay again but would request a different room. "

After 2 weeks in Switzerland, everyday in restaurants, our best food experience was at the restaurant in the hotel. "This hotel was very nice for our stay on Lake Maggiore. The room was small but clean and modern. Having a balcony was a plus, as was the delightful breakfast. The hosts gave us good info about driving up into the Versazsca and Maggi valleys. The stone roofed and walled buldings in the isolated villages are a must see. It was a short walk to the lakefront for dinner and a little casino time. Good location. We'd stay here again! "
