"The staff were wonderful truly excellent hospitality from start to finish. The hotel itself was a solid 10/10 in every aspect: service, cleanliness, and overall comfort. The location is unbeatable ,close to everything, especially the train station and the ferry port, which made getting around super easy. Breakfast was a highlight as well, with great options and service running until 10:30. Highly recommend!"
"We just loved the hotel. It was close to the train station and the port for tourist boats for our daily outings. The staff were very friendly, helpful for any request. The room was clean, bed comfortable and the view from our window lovely. Air conditioning was very welcome after being out all day. Close to the main street, we had ample options for our choice of restaurants in the area to dine for lunch or dinner. "
"The Grand Hotel is abundant in everything 😍 great location, a 5-10 mins walk to ferry port (usually amalfi coast boats i.e. Travelmar). Centrally located to everything such as beach & town centre. Lovely walk to Lungomare Promenade!
"
"Host calls you to check up on eta and is very accommodating and friendly the cleanest and nicest bed and breakfast I ever stayed at 100 percent would stay again. As well gives you recommendations for things to and see as well "
"Great stay and a great location ! We loved everything about our stay, we were with a toddler and we couldn't have asked for more. The check in and check out process was super simple as well. Rooms were cleaned everyday and the housekeeper is a lovely lady as well. Next time we are in Salerno, we will be back!"
"Great convenient room in the center of Salerno. Walkable to the rail station and to the port. Pleasant modern design. Breakfast (a coffee and a pastry) is included in a cafe nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!"
"We stayed for four nights. Can really recommend this B&B. So clean, such a great breakfast and a good location! Nice and serviceminded owner! Will definately stay there again! "
"This place is great. We were a family of 5 and it had everything we needed and more. You are not in the main tourist area but this was great because local shops/bakeries/cafe all close which we enjoyed. They went above and beyond with an issue of lost luggage trying to help."
"Beautiful rooms, excellent service and wonderful people. Would definitely recommend to everyone considering staying here. I will definitely be back. "
"Very clean. Close to great restaurants, the bus to Amalfi and boat back.Friendly, helpful staff. No separate trash for recyclables. I loved the ‘mini bidet’. "
"We had a great stay! This was our first time in Europe and the B&B was the perfect location. Very close to all the shops and restaurants and a short walk to the ferry terminal. The view was incredible and the property was gorgeous. The host was very responsive and thorough with the check-in info. Although we had early mornings where we weren’t at the property, breakfast was provided! Salerno was a great city to stay in and away from the crowds in the other towns. Would stay again!"
"Our room was small, but the main value of staying here is its central location to be able to go out and about. A couple blocks from the train station, across the street from the ferry, and adjacent to a nice walk in the shade along the shoreline with quality restaurants.
Stay here if you plan on visiting Salerno!"
"From start to finish, everything about B&B Cherie Salerno has been excellent. Mario greeted us at the front entrance and directed us to the second floor where Sylvia greeted us to checked us in. She was professional and explained everything with pride. The room was welcoming, bright, clean and very quiet and safe. It has black out shades that automatically go down when you leave the room and so the room stays cool. The host was very communicative with timely responses. The location is excellent, easy walking distance for bus, train, ferry port, and historic sights. Offering luggage storage is very appreciated. Glad we stayed and would stay here again. Thank you Alfonso and Sylvia."
"We loved this property, but the check-in was enormously complex and time-consuming. The instructions emailed to us were only in Italian and involved getting through four doors. Our Italian is only rudimentary so we had to do a bit of guesswork. Also be aware your access hinges on having high-speed data plan on your phone, and our coverage was spotty at best. But Marco was helpful when contacted by text. Ultimately instructions in English would have solved most problems. The room was great, location was great, and we appreciated the breakfast vouchers."
"Gave us a great recommendation on a restaurant for my birthday- Mediterranea. Secure, elevator a plus, Coop grocery store right behind building. WiFi good. Older building (Italian charm!) but renovated well. Pretty good supply of pans/dishes - induction cooktop! Very attentive hostess (owner?) but not intrusive. Great stay!"
