"Excellent room- it was huge! Very clean and loved the history of the building. The staff was less than friendly upon arrive and leaving in the morning. I was also unaware of the fact that it was also a casino, so my daughter couldn’t really leave the room. "
"Our room was very nice! The location was close to everything we were interested in. I would only give the parking a down grade. There is no parking onsite due to historic area it is in. You can park in front of entrance for 20 minutes to check in and unload your luggage. Then you must drive to public parking garage around the corner a few blocks down main and turn left. Cost is $10 for 24 hours."
"Amazing price compared to other nearby hotels and it was very clean and pet friendly. The bed was excellent and we loved the decor with big beautiful printed photos of local landmarks in our room. They must customize the art in each hotel by the location it’s in, which is a nice touch. Just a short drive to local attractions like Mt. Rushmore. No breakfast, but they told us that’s how they keep the prices lower, which was fine with us! Would stay at an My Place Hotel again in a heart beat! "
"Beautiful property, very clean, friendly staff, quiet, excellent breakfast (not typical hotel breakfast) safe area, convenient for driving to all the sites in the Black Hills area. Highly recommend! "
"Really great value stay. And with a pool! I didn't use it, but next time will for sure. Very spacious, clean room. The next morning I saw how active the staff was in preparing the rooms for the next visitors and they were hustling! It showed in the preparation of my room as well. Thanks!"
La Quinta Inn and Suites by Wyndham at WaTiki Waterpark

"We absolutely loved this hotel! The front desk staff was so accommodating. We needed batteries and a screwdriver for a kids toy and she was so nice and just said, i got you! Was clean and friendly at all spots. Even housekeepers were super friendly when walking by. Would stay here over again and again. "
"Check in was easy and staff were friendly. The room was super spacious and modern, and we loved how comfortable the beds were. The hot breakfast was a nice touch! "
"This hotel was very nice! Clean, comfortable beds. Nice pool and hot tub. Love the outside fire pit and seating. Walkable to downtown Hill City. We loved lost cabin brewery next door as well. Will definitely stay again."
"The cabin/room I stayed in was very nice, well equipped, and delightful to stay in. The area was ideally located for many of the attractions in the area. I would definitely recommend it to other travelers. Enjoy!! "
"I have had bad experiences at a couple Comfort Inn stays, so I was a little leery, but booked after reading the reviews. And we were not disappointed. Hotel felt clean and well kept up and a great central location. We were also pleasantly surprised with the town of Hill City. We were visiting Mt Rushmore for the first time and just looking for a comfortable stay but fell in love with the area. Also the front desk lady who checked us in gave us a wonderful recommendation for a sweets shop downtown , and it did not disappoint! "
