A gorgeous city! Many different dining options/things to see. Do not miss the Butchart Gardens, and try to catch the fireworks show there. Try to grab high tea some place fancy. The Empress tea room is overrated. The water taxi harbour tour is great!

Verdant, with fresh ocean air, spectacular views, and restored urban waterways, & strong city planning supporting historical and modern architecture as well as walkability & a bustling small-city street life, Victoria is one of Canada's best cities.

Victoria is beautiful & friendly. In the summer, flower baskets line the streets; the Inner Harbour is lovely. I always find something interesting in the lovely little boutiques or cafes on Government Street or on the side streets; & a great museum!

Visit Craigdarroch Castle, my favorite destination during our trip. The whole family fell in love with Beacon Hill Park--- between the ducks, geese, peacocks, songbirds, and friendly squirrels, it felt like we had entered a Disney princess movie.

Citizens of the area were friendly & proud of their city. We particularly enjoyed the Bell Ringers in the Belfry of Christ Church Cathedral on Victoria Day. Our bus driver to Butchart Gardens entertained us with such fascinating info.

Victoria is a gorgeous, regal city. Lots of Canadian history, very pretty and lively. The harbour is stunning and worth the time to walk past the main downtown and further into other areas.
"Fantastic stay! Very well kept and offers all of the amenities you could think of, and then some. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you’re looking for somewhere within walking distance of all things Downtown Victoria, this is your spot.
We will definitely stay here again! "
"Hotel location is perfect! Inner Harbour - walking distance to many great restaurants and shops.
Staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Helpful and pleasant. Breakfast had lots of choices and tasty. We will absolutely come back"
"This was the most amazing experience for my 8-year old daughter and I. She couldn't believe how "fancy" everything was. The antiques, the character, the fine dining experience, unique & massive rooms - everything was so awesome! The staff - especially our server for breakfast was so lovely. Breakfast was not your typical continental anything. It was a 3 course breakfast with delicious, fancy food using the fine china and white linen table cloths. You can't help but feel fancy staying here. So much character, so much charm. My daughter and I had a very pleasant stay. "

"Great place to stay. It was a short walk to downtown restaurants and shops while being across the bridge from the noise. Lovely staff, and very comfortable room."
"We didn’t dine here as it was out of our price range. I loved our room, amazing view. I found it was a little further from the action and shops in Victoria but it was quiet so that’s the trade off I guess. Kids loved the pool, I would’ve liked a hot tub for myself and partner. Great service from the staff. "
"What a lovely, comfortable property! The view of the castle was so lovely and the location was convenient to downtown. Loved the original switches, trim and window coverings.
Wasn’t sure if the slippers were recommended (should we have removed our shoes?). Information on breakfast would be helpful to include in the welcome email.
Such a lovely stay - thank you! "
"This is a fun and funky place to stay. This is my second visit and no complaints. It is easy to get downtown via bus if not driving. Internet worked well, everything seemed clean, and the staff are friendly. Didn’t use the pool, but looked like fun. The only thing I could not figure out was how to work the TV, but I have this problem at every hotel/motel I go to."
"My mom and I could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Victoria!!! We loved the ocean view, breakfast, and the staff were so helpful and accommodating. It was easy to catch an uber to get to everything we wanted to see during our stay. We would both stay here again. "
"View from the suite was great of the marina. Found the location quiet, but easy to access a lot of things. Hotel is lacking in the sense of a restaurant, gym, etc. but if you’re looking for basics in a great location, it’s awesome!"
"Third time staying here with each stay in a different building. Great location! Free parking too. Friendly staff. Easy walking distance of attractions, restaurants and pubs and shopping too. Only noted one minor issue on this stay. The kitchen cupboards insides were in need if a wipe. Otherwise an enjoyable stay!"
"Bed was typical comfort, food options were great, get a parking stall before 8 pm otherwise you might not get one. The "queen of wasps" at the outdoor restaurant gave the best service and suggestions on what to do in the area."
