"Comfortable room, nice but slippery pool area, John at desk was great, lady running breakfast was excellent, lobby and check in were very friendly, good location next to a good restaurant.
Hallways are dingy, stairs need vacuuming, bathroom vanity is barely adequate, paper cups in room eco friendly but disappointing."

"Could not have asked for better service. The friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. The hotel is a little dated but how clean everything was overshadowed the vibe for sure."

Take time to walk along the waterfront. Be sure to take a sailing cruise with The Whistling Man Schooner...highlight of my time there. Top off your adventure with a relaxing massage at Green Mountain Massage and Bodywork.

This is a beautiful town with much to see, walk, do, and buy. Great food, the Flynn theatre and a comedy club right next door, and over a dozen restaurants. Like any major city, which, for Vermont, Burlington is, you will encounter homeless people.

View of the lake & mountains beautiful. Church street charming w/ shops & restaurants. So many homeless people was sad. Cold drizzly weather was a bummer (for our girl considering UVM). People v friendly. Need more gf and df options.

Burlington has its history, charms and its issues. The waterfront and Church street were lovely but the homeless issues are concerning. I did not feel safe after dark for a stroll.

There are a lot of very nice stores and restaurants, however, there is sadly an unsafe feeling with all of the homeless folks around. 😢

"A beautiful inn very near DT Burlington, lovely rooms and views. The buffet breakfast in the solarium was fantastic, (they need to add some smoked salmon for the bagels) and we would absolutely stay again "
"The restaurant menu was a bit limited. Road works outside the hotel area with broken and closed off sidewalks made getting to hotel entrance a nuisance and inconvenient. Not hotels fault just generally inconvenient,"
"The staff is so friendly, helpful and welcoming. There were 5 in our group; we had 3 rooms and all of us expressed the wish that our beds at home were was comfortable as they are at the Lodge!"
"Excellent location in Stowe, Vt. Close to everything. I had a first floor room with patio. All I had to do was walk past the lawn and I was able to walk the Stowe recreation trail. The rooms were gorgeous inside with nice details I would not see in a hotel. The only downside is there are no elevators or free breakfast. Bring a camping grill and place on patio if you want to cook.
Close to all local attractions including two covered bridges, alchemist for brewery tour and the village of Stowe.

"Thus is a beautiful property in the heart of Stowe. The staff was friendly and helpful, which is great because I was traveling solo from California. My room was in the motel portion and was comfortable, clean and had the right amount of outlets, charging areas and seating. There is a large variety of dining and shopping within walking distance and there are plenty of outdoor spaces. "
"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Field Guide Lodge in Stowe. The room was cozy and spotless, and the breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. Aiden and the whole team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We truly felt like royalty. The atmosphere is relaxed and stylish, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Stowe."
