"The Grand Sirenis Rivera Maya is a wonderful resort. There are three huge pools which are all different and all fun. Excellent food at both of the buffets and at the themed restaurants that we tried, which included the Mexican, Asian, and Mediterranean restaurants. It is quite a large property with many well maintained walkways that connect all of the areas. We enjoyed this about the Grand Sirenis, and had some great times just walking around from place to place and getting some god exercise in the process. A unique feature is the lazy river, which we found to be a "not so lazy" river with a pretty good current. It was fun to float around and swim through it as well. My daughter especially enjoyed swimming through the lazy river as did I. The rooms were large, very nice, and well equipped with everything that you would expect at a resort of this type. The beach area was also very large and had a lot of different areas to enjoy. Unfortunately, we went during Sargassum season so the beaches were not swimmable due to the abundance of seaweed. I can only imagine how beautiful the beaches would be during the seasons where Sargassum is not an issue, and of course, that is all beyond the control of the resort. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Grand Sirenis and wold definitely return for a future visit."

"Personally this was our first time staying at an All Inclusive resort and we couldn’t be more happier with our stay. Everything was wonderful! The dining options, the staff, the endless amounts of activities as well as entertainment options made our stay that much more memorable. With only a few minutes walk to a private beach and ability to swim in the ocean all day long, as well as numerous pools in the resort and the option to reserve a room with its only private pool, Secrets Akumal has indeed set a high bar when it comes to All Inclusive resorts and we will definitely be going back. We had an amazing time and enjoyed all of the services. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to enjoy a week of vacation without the stress of having to arrange all the things that comes with planning for a vacation. Great service and a beautiful location!"

"This is the second time I visited Royal Catalonia Tulum. The first time I came solo, which was a wonderful experience, and this time I came with a group of 5 women and stayed for 5 days. We all had an excellent time. The food is delicious, the place feels very safe, the ocean is calm, the water is clear, and the water temperature was great for swimming. We did many activities; stretching, yoga, water aerobics, dancing, volleyball, and bingo. You can spend your time there just relaxing or mix it up with the many fun activities that are planned throughout the day and evening. It’s also fun to walk along the beach, and we got up to watch the sunrise almost every day. My favorite restaurant is Adelita, and Evangelina was our awesome waitress both times. Breakfast and lunch offered many healthy and delicious options, and Quetzabel is incredibly welcoming. She remembered our name after about a day. Everyone working at the resort is so kind and helpful, and they speak English surprisingly well. Beatriz at the front desk was super helpful and arranged our dinner plans and answered any questions we had. Eddie (Edgar) is an amazing dancer, activity leader and just overall wonderful human being. Jesus drove the golf cart and went out of his way to make us comfortable. Marti cleaned our room and it was so fun to come back to our room after swimming all day to find a spotless room with a new creative design with the bedding. We’ll be back!"

"I like having an ocean view, being to have a private beach and walkable to town. The only negative is a staff whose name is Amparo was very rude and ignored us. She even looked at us and started talking to another staff person. She wouldn't take our order in the snack bar and if she did, she never gave it to us. I had to ask another staff for our order, and he got it, and it was cold. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who got the cold shoulder from her. The fact is we didn't even do anything to her for her to treat us that way. Please let management know about tis staff. "

"Best property in Cozumel. It has a small private beach with the most clear water you can think of. The setup is fantastic. A family pool by the side which is relatively busy… but it also offers a ver quiet pool surrounded by gardens in the back. The beach resembles a very small bay 40m long that ends up at two different restaurants, one on each end. Pricing is fair and clear. A couple of gourmet restaurants which are not cheap, maybe 3 if the beach club is included, but given the setting, reasonable for the place. The restaurants were very good. The design which is probably 4-5 decades old is fantastic. Sort of modern but with incredibly designed wooden furniture. Hotel migjt be aging a little bit, so maintenance demands seem to be increasing. A nice update would be great - but keeping it classic. Just make sure everthing works smoothly, don’t alter the vibe. Internet was solid as well. All in. A great experience. "

"This property is very family-oriented. The à la carte dining options, the Mexican restaurant, and the Japanese restaurant were amazing. Miguel Angel at the Mexican restaurant was amazing, and Noe at the sports bar was great. "
