"This place is perfect if you want to be right on the ocean. DO NOT take your pups in the back, way too many thorns. Big beautiful Hotel, my husband and I had it all to ourselves, besides one guest across the hall. Lots of shells around. A bit pricey tho."

"The location was fantastic! It was so easy to get everywhere. The cottage was outdated and a bit rundown, but it was nice and the beds were comfortable."

"Cute well furnished cottage. Only issue was the extremely pokey weed things on the walk to the beach that left splinters in our feet and dogs paws, but there was someone trying to remove the dried bushes. "

"The location can't be beaten, just steps from the sand. This property is very dated, the beds were uncomfortable, there were no screens on the windows, so we couldn't enjoy the ocean air. It just needs some serious updating. "

"Cute place and right on the beach! The staircase up to the bedrooms are not good for older people or small children but you have beach access right out your back door."

"We enjoyed our brief stay at the Dublin House. The bed was clean and comfortable. We were only a short distance to quiet a few restaurants for breakfast and dinner. "

"This is a very low budget motel and didn’t feel safe or clean. I stayed out as long as I could to avoid it and got up at dawn to leave. Guest beware! "

Love Waldport! Very nice community. Salty Dog has the best chowder bowls!
"Stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Was about the same price as the hotels in the area for a 1 bedroom condo with upstairs and downstairs. I really enjoyed the jetted tub. It was probably the fanciest bathroom I've been in with heated mirrors, a heated towel rack, and the tub had several jet settings. Also very short walk over to the beach. The beach was very nice, there was a little creak to cross and lots of small dunes. My only complaint is the curtains in the bedroom did nothing to block out light, but there was blackout curtains upstairs in the living room, just wish they were in the bedroom. "
"Fantastic view of the ocean. The neighboring property leaves lights on facing the ocean so we were able to enjoy the view past midnight. The room was nice with plenty of room"
" Very nice and clean hotel. Newly remodeled and the beds were very comfortable. Great location and the staff were very friendly. Parking is very nice with lower and upper parking available. "
"One of the nicest hotels on the Oregon Washington Coast. The rooms are large and clean. The bread is super comfortable. Fun activities in the lobby for families. The restaurant service amazing dinners and breakfast."
"Enjoyed how quiet the hotel was and their accommodations so we could be next door with our friends we were traveling with. The pool room was a bit muggy, but the kids enjoyed it. Love how close it was to the aquarium! Will definitely stay here again. "
"An absolute gem on the coast. Easy access to beautiful beach. Cozy atrium and wonderful views from our room, the "Sea Rose".
Ocean house has clearly made an effort to cater to every detail, providing for a very comfortable stay.
Looking forward to coming back someday!"
"Always nice to stay here. This is the place my husband and I always stay at. It’s always clean, the staff is always friendly, and it’s always comfortable."
"We got upgraded to a nicer room since ours wasn't ready when we arrived. The receptionist was really sweet as well. We stayed for one night and it was nice. There were a few issues that were out of the staff's control like people smoking pot and being loud in the rooms but otherwise it was great. If they tighten up on the pot smoking in and around the rooms the stay would be more comfortable but the staff can't control everyone. Overall the stay was great on the part of the hotel!"
"Love the town! Walking distance to the beach. Room is very big and very clean. Friendly staff, and it’s dog-friendly. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. Thank you!"
"Hidden back behind a little housing community is a lost gem. Alsi is a fabulous, fun resort staffed with some of the greatest people. First we met Hector! He was so fun and helpful. He told us all about the place and the fun they have with karaoke, a great restaurant and bar. My husband and I were sold at having dinner there. We had some amazing drinks made by Joe. Joe is the sweetest women around. She made sure we had everything we could have wanted and things we didn't know we needed. Our dinner was good but I think the menu needs a little revamping. It's got good food but not something for everyone. After we got our food and hard another drink we started singing karaoke and having so much fun. Then we went out on the private little beach area to watch the sunset. When we came back in Hector, knowing we are on vacation and getting our once a year trip offered to upgrade our room to a sweet with a large jet tub. The offer was so good we paid and moved into a beautiful room we never wanted to leave. It had a living room area, bed area and huge tub area. This was literally my favorite place on our vacation. When we left after a couple days of fun I genuinely felt like I was leaving friends. I really wish I could express how much fun we had and how truly amazing Hector and Joe were. Just go! "
"It's an acceptable room to stay in if you need some rest after driving Highway 101 all day. It's not fancy at all, but it works. My room was very spacious, but there wasn't a lot of furniture, and they have the TV situated way too far away from the bed (like 25 feet). You'll have plenty of space to do some square dancing if you want, but you'll have to squint to see the TV. Hardwood floors instead of carpet. A lot of roadside inns are going that way these days, but I don't particularly like it in a motel room. You'll have a hard time finding anything better on the Oregon Coast for $100, so it's a good deal."
