"Beautiful spot, close enough to town but still has a quiet out in the country feel. Our room has a small “patio” in back where we enjoy sitting to read or look at the sky. Breakfast was delicious and the host is very helpful. Will come back!"

"Alpine Lodge was a perfect place to stay during our Red River trip. My wife and I loved how close it was to everything. Literally right next to the ski lift. Staff was super friendly and very helpful getting checked in and out. Bed was comfortable and perfect size for the two of us. Enjoyed not having to worry about keys but used a keypad to get into our room. You can hear your neighbors next door but it wasn’t too bad. They do have quiet hours but it depends on who your neighbors are. Had people being very loud until 11:30 one night, that was a bit of a bummer but once they quieted down, it was fine. Overall, Alpine Lodge was a great place to stay, close to restaurants and shops, affordable and very cozy. We enjoyed it very much. "

"Everything about this was wonderful. The service was personal and exceptional. Lucas, the manager was first rate. The property is nestled among cottonwoods just SE of downtown. It was quiet and close. Our room was spacious and lovely with a courtyard garden area, dining area, fireplace, coffee, fridge and AC. The bathroom was huge, beautiful and spa like. The jetted tub and walk in shower all done in marble. Exceptional!!! The kids enjoyed the pool located at a larger sister property and we all loved a gourmet breakfast there. Our mistake was not having cash to leave for gratuities. The service was always impeccable! "

"Arrived on their busiest day of the year without meaning to, during an annual festival in Taos, yet they remained cool, calm, and friendly. I had a small problem that they worked on in the midst of the fray - until they were able to resolve the issue for me. I am so grateful."

"We loved the condo condition and comfort. We loved the area where it sits. It has an amazing courtyard, grill area, hot tub, game room, ice and washroom. The zip line and fishing pond were located right next to Auslander. It was a remote location yet so close to everything. We love it!"

"Excellent stay. Due the time of year, the food options were a little limited but expected. Quiet, relaxing environment. Our condo was recently remodeled, and the owners did an amazing job. Top shelf all the way. Mitch was more than accommodating, responded to questions and concerns quickly, even with our late arrival. Would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family. "I was more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room. The service, the hot tub and pool were awesome. The room had everything we needed, microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, dishwasher and a cabinet stocked with dishes, glassware and silverware. Silverware. There was also a complete set of knives, a kitchen shears, easy access to ice and a text message received an instant response. I can't think of a single thing to say that was not positive. We will be back."

"We had the best time at Edelweiss Lodge and Spa! We went to Taos Ski Valley to hike to Wheeler Peak. Helen took care of us the entire time, checking on us on our hike and setting up massages while we were hiking down the mountain. The only negative was there was no air conditioning so it was a little warm in our room. Helen did come through though by getting us a fan. Overall, it was an amazing stay and I would highly recommend Edelweiss!"
