"Amazing experience. Offered us an upgrade for a reasonable price to a presidential suite. Very large and convenient room close to the pool and the beach. The game room off of the pool was a cool addition. The beach was very nice and almost seemed like a private beach. Food was a little pricey but very good. We will be back."

"On the whole, the Malibu Country Inn is fun and cute, if not a bit shabby chic. It could use a few updates, i.e. the ice machine was not working and some features advertised were just for show (the in room fireplace is only decorative). That said, it is close the beach, affordable, and in an amazing location. Plus, Aaron at the front desk is super chill."

Oxnard Shores is the last holdout of quiet beach community- its close to everything, but no partying in that area where we stayed. If that's your thing Ventura is better. The Collection is about 5 miles away and has all the belles and whistles.

I love the Oxnard Beach area. I grew up here. And we have returned in our retirement. The downtown area is diverse and is often overlooked. One of my favorite things is we have access to the Ventura Harbor and the Channel Islands Harbors.
