"Great cabin and enjoyed our stay only disappointment was the grill was gone and so was the firewood, both which we were reading would be available. We work on the road and was looking forward to grilling up a hot meal, we did use the kitchen instead so no big deal. We hope to use this cabin again in the future! "

The hosts even left a small loaf of Amish made bread and cinnamon rolls. Only a couple of minor issues. Parking for #2 was difficult, especially at night. Had to back down hill on narrow driveway. "The place was very roomy. There were only a few drawbacks. You have to pass through the room with the bunkbeds to get to the master and there were alot of bugs due to no screens and a hole in the kitchen floor. But we are used to farm homes so we were not as put off as others may be."

Overall the furniture and fixtures are quite worn & tired. Desk chair leaned sideways enough to be scary, tub drained very sloooowly, such that I was nearly ankle deep near the end of my shower. Breakfast was fair and similar to most hotels. Price was way better than other hotels nearby. "

While in Sugar Creek, we saw a production at the Ohio Star Theater. For dinner, we drove to the little village of Baltic, which has a great restaurant, The East Main Kitchen ( highly recommend) and a winery.

A lot of the shopping and such is closed on Sunday. Keep that in mind when booking your time. We still enjoyed a calm quiet Sunday morning thought with a wonderful breakfast on site!

I can appreciate that a lot of work has gone into repairing and fixing up the location. The new management is visibly dedicated to to ensuring that your stay is pleasant. Staff in the office and the maid service were extremely friendly and welcoming. I didn't get a chance to swim but the pool looked clean and well maintained. "
