We were not there for shopping. We were there for Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge which was excellent and under some renovation. We saw and or heard more than 60 species of birds including bald eagles, plus deer, rabbits and ground hogs.

Birch Run is a place I always visit for awesome shopping. Close to Frankenmuth and Bronners Christmas store. Just off the Hwy which is fantastic!!

Some touch up painting needs to be done, and the carpet in the room was worn a bit. The free breakfast was bad on Sunday morning. The eggs were not good at all. Went with the waffles and fruit.
