"We have been vacationing in York Beach for 30years, by far BEST overall lodging experience- excellent communication, Cedar was extremely hospitable! Parking & check in could not have been easier. Room was well decorated, clean & very comfortable. Ability to park early & also leave the car and head over to the beach after check out was amazing! We will certainly be back & highly recommend!"
"If you’re looking for a place with tons of amenities, this is not the place for you. This is a quiet EXCEPTIONALLY clean older place. When in say clean, I mean I couldn’t find a cobweb anywhere, even in the window sills. The place is dated, and does seem to lean in places, but it’s perfect for a quiet getaway to the beach. Perfectly located right at the southern end of the beach. You can walk the whole thing and not have to worry about rowdiness at night, which made it great. Close enough to walk, but just far enough away from crowds. Perfectly priced too. There is a heated pool as well although we preferred the ocean ;). No elevator so keep that in mind, by the balcony overlooks the beach and we slept with the sound of the waves(heavenly). This place may not have this big amenities other places have, but you can’t beat how clean it is and where it is located. Definitely a place to return to."
