"Lovely hotel with beautiful location on the lake. It's a bit outside on Montreux, but they kindly provided free bus travel which runs every 10 minutes from a bus stop right outside the hotel.
Rooms and breakfast were all lovely. There is also a pleasant lounge area and outdoor terrace.
A good tip is to take the bus from the hote about half way to town and alight at Clarens-Basset. From there there is a promenande all the way into town whuch is a lively 45 minute walk.

"There's no AC and the ventilation pehaps not the best, so the room was a bit stuffy when I checked in. But I had the room with the full view of the lake so I opened the door and after it aired out, it was completely fine. It's the view that makes this hotel worth the stay, everything else is a bit substandard. "

We happen to visit during the heat wave and it wasn’t the most comfortable. That seems to be the case with most places in Switzerland. Thank God the staff gave us a fan otherwise we wouldn’t have slept at all."
