The hotel does seem dated but we were told they were in the middle of renovations. We also arrived an hour early and they did not allow us to check in early. Family of four, stayed in a quadruple room which was very spacious and clean. Great water pressure in shower. Surroundings are peaceful and quiet, just sounds of birds so we slept wonderfully. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent.
