"I would highly recommend this hotel. I had a clean, comfortable room with an en-suite bathroom and a wonderful view across the valley and mountains. The owners, Alberto and his wife Miki, were excellent hosts, contacting me directly before my arrival with detailed directions for parking and check-in. The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace and serves delicious homemade breakfasts. There is also an honesty bar with drinks and snacks. The location is ideal, tucked away in a quiet spot in the heart of the village, just a one-minute walk from the main square. All in all, I found it perfect."

in some of the rooms etc) but the hotel is spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned and towels replaced everyday. Food is wonderful, a very varied selection and all freshly prepared. The staff and service are excellent, would definitely recommend. "
"We loved our stay at Playavera, the pool area is very pretty, lots of loungers, plus a warm indoor pool and beach access so close. The location is fantastic, everything you need. We were gutted to leave, but reception refused to consider our request to extend our stay in the studio for the price of a double, despite stating most of the studios were available. We couldn’t afford boarded (food) options and the one night we paid to eat with friends we were very disappointed. I wouldn’t eat dinner here, but a stay is lovely. Would return for a good price."

We had a few problems the air conditioning wasn't working so it was 27° in our room and very hot in our friends room also the jacuzzi bath didn't work. Some of the furniture needs tidying up. The big problem for us was the boat yard next door sanding a boat for painting was very noisy other than that we had a great time."

We ended up leaving a day early. No refund for the last day. It worked for our needs, but the two most important factors were the water and air not working correctly. "

"This hotel is perfect for a night or two. We will definitely stay again. No frills but it has everything you want in a room. A comfortable bed, spacious, spotlessly clean, air conditioning.
Be aware however Expedia says check in at 2.30. That’s not the case. You need to check in before 2pm as reception is not 24hrs and it closes at 2 then reopens at 5pm until ? Sorry can’t remember. "

We knew we would be travelling for 8 hours on a hot day by motorbike so wanted a hotel with a pool. Went to use the pool and it was "closed for the season" apparently closed on the 1st Sept... we were there on the 2nd.... might seem petty but that was the primary reason we booked the hotel... there is nothing noted about pool closure on Expedia or the hotel website.
It was a 32 degree day.... so still swimming weather!!"
"Done many stays over the years in this area, definitely wouldn’t class as 4 star, very basic, room was riddled with ants, even in the bed, and later discovered hundreds in my handbag as it was left on the floor at the side of the bed, lady on reception didn’t even apologise for this.
