"Such a cute hotel out in the country. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were impressed with their kindness at both check in as well as breakfast and checkout. Their breakfast was excellent- fresh scrambled eggs, an amazing selection of breads, fruits, cheeses, meats… our kids loved it! Would definitely stay here again!

"Quite clean. Breakfast is simple but good and the host family is very kind and always available to help.
Nonetheless, rooms are small and soundproofing is poor so you can hear noises from other rooms (e.g. toilets flushing, bathroom extractor fans, rushing water from the showers, etc.).
Overall, we found it overpriced: during the same holiday, we stayed in 3 and 4-star hotels in the very centre of Nuremberg, Bamberg and Regensburg and they were all cheaper than this pension."

"Hotel Gotisches Haus is a true gem in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The hotel blends modern comfort with historical charm. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the attention to detail in the décor made the stay feel special and authentic.
The location is perfect, right in the center of the old town!
The staff were both attentive and kind, always happy to help and full of great local tips.

"We are world travelers and this is a must visit town. Excellent location, breakfast and host. Nice room. Check in is in a barren room in front at what looked like an ATM."

"This was our second time staying at Mittermeier. Wonderful staff and just a different feel than a regular hotel: a good one.
Due to some overbooking we received an upgraded room and all we can say is wonderful room."

"This hotel is not a boutique hotel and doesn't claim to be so, its traditional and a bit quirky, but clean, comfortable, in a great location with parking as a plus"

If visiting museums in Frauental are on your list, you might want to check out the upcoming exhibitions at Kloster Frauental, located in the heart of town. If you want to see more of the museums in Frauental, Feuerwehrmuseum isn't far either.
Feuerwehrmuseum is 4.6 mi (7.4 km) from central Creglingen, why not stop by during your stay. If you want to experience more of the culture Creglingen has to offer, head to Spitalmuseum, Kloster Frauental, and Herrgottskirche.

Hotel Goldener Hirsch
10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful two-night stay at Hotel Goldener Hirsch. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and well appointed, and we all found the beds comfortable. We loved the common areas on the first and second floors-nice places to sit and read while waiting for other members of our party. Breakfast was lovely. The hotel offered a nice selection of foods in what I would call traditional German style. Lastly, the location of the hotel makes it easy to walk to the center of town, the kriminalsmuseum and other key areas. Overall, this was a great place to stay and we would definitely return if coming to Rothenberg in the future."
"We loved our stay at Wildbad, living like princesses in the castle and exploring the grounds. The hotel is in a quiet park in convenient walking distance to the city centre and medieval town. We also enjoyed very much their diner grill buffet, a very healthy option and great ambience, different to the local touristy places. Breakfast was excellent as well, would only recommend to change the plastic tea bags."
"Great stay in a very authentic historic feeling building. It’s a hotel people take pictures of all day because it’s so lovely. Inside was very comfortable and a great mixture of modern conveniences and old school charm"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Gastof Post! As a family of 5 (2 adults travelling with 3 teenagers) it is not easy to find accommodations where we can all be together, but our room was perfect! While not directly in the walled part of town, it isn’t even 10 minutes walk to get there, and it kept us out of some of the hustle and bustle. There is a lovely restaurant as well attached to the hotel.
If you have mobility concerns, it may not be the best option, as there is no elevator, but that fact was well advertised so we knew ahead of time that we would be climbing stairs, and that wasn’t a problem for us.
Very clean, HUGE bathroom in room 33. An excellent and affordable option!"
"It was pouring rain when we arrived which was a bit challenging due to some street construction nearby. The staff member offered me an umbrella and even stood in a parking spot right out front for us so I didn't have to!
Staff gave us recommendations for dining which we used and enjoyed an incredible meal in a 9th century building.
The rooms were outstanding, and touches like having artifacts under plexiglass in the floor was unique. All around fabulous stay. "
"My single room was small but perfectly appointed. The bedding was very comfortable, and I liked having a desk in the room. The shower was also nice with good water pressure and hot water. The hotel lounge was lovely and the bartenders were polite. The location is perfect for walking anywhere you need to go. My only suggestion would be to skip the breakfast, there are too many better options nearby. "
"Amazing, atmospheric place. Beautifully laid out to keep the feel of a fortified manor.
My only disappointment was the bed. My room had two singles pushed together, which is fairly normal in Germany. However these were two narrow wooden beds, with the frames higher than the mattress. Whilst the style was in keeping with the room, the actual sleeping space was limited, and I kept kicking the frame during the night. Mattress was comfortable though."
"P5 parking lot right outside the Pulverturm (PowderTower) entrance, which is right by the hotel. They also have their own parking, and parking lot in front of hotel. Polizie monitor, so make sure to purchase your parking pass if you drive.
Restaurant on premises with good German dishes and Bier/Wine selection. Rooms are quiet and clean."
"I loved how it was right in the village. The staff was so friendly! The room was smaller, but I was alone and it’s all that I needed. The bird was comfortable and TV worked. They even gave me a bottle of water. The windows were new and I was able to open them. It was nice. They had a fan in the room as well. I love the outside patio! I would definitely go back."
"We had a great stay at this hotel. Parking was very convenient and the location was wonderful. We really appreciated the good breakfast and the staff treated us very well. Highly recommend!"
"Loved: Beautiful view of the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Quiet, clean. Grocery stores nearby, immediate parking in the garage.
Didn't like: difficult computer check in after long flight/disorienting. Nice staff member who was very helpful but helping multiple people at once. So, the check in took a long time. "
