"Well located, just 10 min steaight wall onto cemtre of town. Very good reception lady. Sloghtly odd to get to tour room by walking down street . Room roomy. Bathroom modern. Wifi good. Good noghts sleep. Breakfast good.

"Great location, so 4 instead of 3 stars based on service. Annex in another house nearby. Room is OK. Nice bed. Breakfast buffet is included. Parking is discounted from 50 to 20 euro a day at a nearby parking lot.
At check in I got received as if being an nuisance instead of a guest. I got ignored and when I rang the service bell, a Dutch lady almost cursed at me and walked off. Not the welcome you expect from a hotel like this. Hence barely any stars. The people at breakfast were much more welcoming. "

"It is a Beach Hotel but we don't need to live with the sand of the former guest in our shower and room. The Staff was fantastic. They never mentioned on the website that meals need to be scheduled in the morning, then we can't eat at the restaurant when we arrived. There are many options to eat close to the hotel. It was not a big deal."
"A hotel complex with a situation close to the beach. We had a warm welcome on arrival which was great. We enjoyed a close by coastal walk among the sand dunes and beach during the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel was very good with very attentive servers. Breakfast was excellent also with a superb buffet and great variety."

"I booked into this Hotel for 1 night only, as I was in Transit.
On Check in, I'd forgotten that I had the remains of a Chilli Con Carne & rice in my luggage, that I'd knocked up at my previous apartment. The chef of the Hotel kindly reheated it for me, however when I ordered a pint of Moretti from the Hotel Bar, I was quite astounded to be charged an eye watering 9.25 Euros for the pint!
On check out I was very surprised to be charged 7.50 for car parking for the previous night. It's common place for large Hotels both in the Netherlands & the UK to charge for parking, Vlaardingen however is a Rotterdam suburb & it's direct competitor in the same price range the nearby Bastion Hotel certainly doesn't charge for parking, so for that reason, I don't plan on using the Hotel again in the future unless everywhere else i know in Vlaardingen is full."
