"Neat as a pin, in a busy area full of eateries and a shopping mall about 10 minutes walk away. Staff were very helpful and there is a good breakfast and parking. There are high- tension electrical towers very close, not seen in the pictures, if you are bothered by that. "

"Absolutely over the top 3 day stay at this ryokan. We opted for meals inclusive and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of food. The staff was amazingly attentive! Please consider a pickup at Shinjo station, we took a cab, there is a public bus but it was a two hour wait and we had luggage. Can arrange for luggage storage at Shinjo station? When train service is restored from Shinjo to semi onsen station perhaps that will be a viable option. Yumeminoyado will pick up at Semi onsen station with prior notice. Email communications with the hotel was responsive also, appreciated that! Overall a fantastic stay, highly recommend! "

"This was one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we have ever stayed. The lounge was filled with tasty treats and drinks in the afternoons and outside was a beautiful area with a foot bath. The hot springs were wonderful and the kaiseki dinners were amazing. The hotel staff members were very accommodating and gracious when dealing with a mixup about the reservation. We enjoyed the entertainment in the lobby at night. There is a convenient bus to and from Sendai station. You can purchase roundtrip tickets when you get off the bus, for a slightly discounted price. Our room was so spacious and comfortable that I miss being there already. Highly recommend and we will be back!"

"Hotel and room good, has everything need, close to the station. The only thing was hard pillows and need to get a different pillow from reception. There only a few pillows so not enough for all rooms. Better to have a softer pillow in room anyway."

"A bit overpriced for what it was. I’ve spent less before at other hotels that had more to offer. This was not much more than a standard business hotel. Overall it is a nice place. Nothing special. No vending machines or water coolers. Smoking area is out back by the service entrance. "

"It's a very reasonably priced hotel with thoughtful amenities. The location is excellent, it is next to 711 and across the street from Donke superstore. The staff is very nice and friendly. There is a water dispenser, laundry, and places to sit and work downstairs. The room is small but the comfortable beds and deep bath tub make up for it."

"For the price this was a great place to stay! Close to the Sendai station so getting to and from were a breeze! Also close to some really good restaurants. No complaints, they held my bag before the check-in time so I could explore Sendai. If you're looking for a cheap-ish but comfortable place to stay this is the spot!"

"To begin with, we didn’t pay attention & booked a smoking room. We didn’t think it would affect as much but it did plus the room was not good good, the bathroom was very small & you had to step into, doesn’t work very well for big people. Lastly it wasn’t by any conveniences, which could be on us as well for not researching better. We ended up leaving 2 days earlier. The staff was very & sweet though & the breakfast was pretty good was well."

"The furniture is nostalgic. The rooms are cleaned everyday and are cleaned throughly. The location of thr property is very ideal. Very walkable to most places of interest. The staff at the reception and in the lobby are fantastic people. I enjoyed my week in Sendai."

"I’m very disappointed about the fact that the hotel does not have the courtesy to provide 1 or 2 hr of late check-out : They charge ¥1,000/hr/person!!! If it’s a weekend, i can understand, but it’s a quiet Monday! I’ve been to dozens of hotels in Japan and worldwide, first time I encountered this. Of course, they’re not ethically wrong or anything; but as a service provider, i will not choose or recommend to anyone."
