"We had an amazing stay with Mauro, not a single thing was too much trouble, his farther even drove me to the local hospital after my partner and son had to spend a night in the hospital after a head injury to pick them both up and bring them back to the hotel. He was able to organise lifts from restaurants, taxis, transfer, genuinely anything we needed. I cannot recommend Villa Luca enough and I feel without staying here our holiday would have been no where near as amazing as it was. Majors...

"We found this to be a comfortable clean hotel with a good restaurant. It’s across the street from the historic center, and is actually very well located although it might not seem so on first impression. The decor feels a lot like an American motel - not much charm. Housekeeping left something to be desired- our first room had no toilet paper and a non working toilet. They couldn’t fix it and didn’t follow up until we asked again. We were moved to a different room, this time with no balcony....

"It was fun staying at this beautiful house with its wonderful views of the Aeolian islands from the various porches. The proprietors were great hosts. If you want to get in your exercise, you can climb the steep mountain road in back of the house and while you're at it, get a chorus of dogs barking along the way. The restaurant within walking distance around the corner was pretty good."
