Only negative would be they need a safe in the room and we wished it was closer to ocean. However we felt safe had great security. "The owner Suzanne is very personable & welcoming. She lives on the property & the apt is at the lower level with an independent entrance. The space is nicely done & a practical kitchen, & seating area. She had some supplies in the kitchen which were very thoughtful -esp if you are on the road eg milk, cereal, sugar, salt etc
The grounds are quite lovely - a nice garden with flowers, ferns, Orchids & tropical fruit trees,
You are free to walk around & help yourself to fruit if u want to. The pool is also an added bonus( though we did not use it) Suzanne also helped us with restaurant recommendations & getting Uber/ transport options.

"My wife and I just had the most incredible 4 night stay at GoldenEye for our anniversary. We stayed in one of the Lagoon Cottages which was very roomy and comfortable. We loved being directly on the lagoon where we could swim, kayak or just sit and watch the turtles go by. We enjoyed the beaches and pools on the property as well. All of the staff (front desk, restaurants, grounds, water sports, spa, etc.) were wonderful. And, every meal we had at Bizot Bar and Bamboo Bar was delicious and featured the freshest local ingredients and bright Jamaican flavors in a good variety of traditional dishes. I cannot think of a single negative. We cannot wait to go back next year."

"I stayed one night at RafJam with my mom. The property was gorgeous! There was a steam flowing through the side and rear or the property and had a cool dripping area and two mini falls. The sound of the stream, birds and beautiful flora and fauna was accident perfect for the relaxing trip we were looking for.
