"Loved the lodge and the restaurant. Part of the reason location was chosen. Food was great. It would be nice to have a bit more of a sitting chair in the room if there were space. "

"Wonderful new establishment with themed rooms. Owner was quick to solve a problem. Would definitely recommend. One thing to note is that hot water comes out yellow due to age of pipes. "

"Enjoyed the hot tub & indoor pool. Loved having cocktails on the 9th floor balcony overlooking the mountains. My only complaint is the food. Choices are limited. Breakfast buffet was horrible. We ate at The Bavarian Inn (I think, it’s right in lodge lobby) & it was good. They have a limited menu as well. Customer Service was really good throughout the resort. Will be back."

"We picked Slopeside because it fell into our path of travel on our trip. We only had a one night stay but we are definitely looking to come back in the future for a longer stay. So glad we stumbled upon them."

"On a trip to do family and historical research with my husband. The entire property was quaint, and the interior rooms were spotless. Donna and Rick were wonderful hosts- making delicious breakfasts each morning. Also wonderful to end the day of hiking in the wet conditions in front of a roaring fire in the firepit, ducks in the pond, and crickets and treefrogs singing."

"If you are going to see Fallingwater or Kentuck Knob, this is an excellent place to stay. Sunsets on the veranda are amazing. The pool a great place to chill out. "
"Room and beds awesome! Safe lighted parking lot. Breakfast food delish- many options. The staff was remarkable especially Recbecca and Sara at check in - so very helpful /friendly and personalable and made us feel very welcomed."
"Beautiful location with the pond! We enjoyed the walking trails and also walking over to Mountain Market Meats for snacks and for delicious breakfast biscuits. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we loved the terrace, especially in the evening watching the clouds and stars and listening to the frogs. "
"Very kind lady helped me with checkin and was very friendly, even though I arrived very late (2am). She made the entire stay worth it and I would go back again just for her level of service"
"We had a great stay here. Just a couple of issues. We used the online link to pre-register, I even submitted a snapshot of my drivers license. All of this was to speed up the check-in process. When we arrived at the front desk, they had no record of our pre-registration and we had to go all through the process again. Another issue was that we thought the window air conditioner was broken. The controls on it did nothing. When we mentioned it at the front desk on our way out to get dinner, we were told that the controls were on the wall. It might help customers if a sign or sticker indicating that the air conditioner controls are on the wall was placed on the window air conditioner. The staff at the front desk says this happens all of the time, so a sticker would definitely help customers. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, queen sized bed and working TV with a channel guide. We had to leave early in the morning for our event, so we didn't have the opportunity to partake of the offered breakfast. Thank you Days Inn for an enjoyable experience! "
"The condo was perfect for our family. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a kitchen with plenty of pots/pans/utensils to cook your own meals. Its a great place to get away with the family in nature, play board games and just spend time together."
"Very nicely appointed rooms, spacious common areas, very clean bathrooms, copious breakfast, friendly staff. We were able to use the refrigerator and even got to use an ice pack for our aching legs. A wonderful place to recharge after a day of cycling! The owner gave us a great restaurant recommendation. Overall there was a very friendly vibe and we enjoyed chatting with other guests while relaxing on the porch."
"Had a wedding here and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff went above and beyond. Everyone was friendly, happy and more than willing to assist us. "
"A lovely stay at Paddlers Lane Retreat. Room was cozy and had everything I needed. Close enough to food options but off the path so it was very quiet and serene.
Dan was a pleasure to chat with and very helpful with recommendations. If I pass through again, I'll definitely stay here. "
