"Hotel location was excellent regarding the beach. Probably 50 feet to sand from their front door. Room view was probably the best I have ever seen! Staff was very attentive to us. Food was excellent. "

"This was the most incredible place we’ve ever stayed! It was so incredibly unique from the history of the place to how modern it was inside and our very own cherry blossom tree outside our window. I can’t express how wonderful this place is! The service is impeccable and the dining is incredible. So luxurious and unique, I would stay here again and again! We stayed in the largest villa called Seguro, highly recommend!!!!"

"We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice.
Points to note are that there are no other facilities other than your room and dining room which is accessed at set, pre agreed times. Early...

"We had an excellent experience at KAI Ito! Our family of four stayed in a room with a private hot spring tub. The suite was large and comfortable, and both breakfast and dinner were included. The food was extravagant and excellent, but note that it will not be appropriate for very picky eaters. The staff were all incredibly welcoming, accomodating to children, and their English was fantastic! I highly recommend this resort for families. We will definitely be staying at KAI resorts any time we're...

"Super clean, well maintained, well organized, exceptional service. Very traditional facility, oozing its golf heritage. Dining options are upscale. Ito city is a short can ride for small casual dining - sushi, sashimi, fish for reasonable price. The courses are beautiful and well deserving of the reputation. "

"Excellent Glamping Experience with Delicious BBQ!
My wife and I recently stayed at Forest Glamping Kanade no Mori Resorts, and we had a wonderful time. We were a bit concerned about the weather forecast as rain was predicted, but luckily, it cleared up on the day of our stay and we enjoyed perfect conditions.
The highlight of our trip was definitely the BBQ dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, making for a memorable dining experience under the stars. The glamping tents were...

"The hotel was amazing! Just driving to the guest house to check in, we saw Mt. Fuji. The staff during check in were so friendly and kind. Our room was magnificent! It was huge! The in room open air onsen was so wonderful. We could see Mt. Fuji as we relaxed in the onsen. The hotel was really clean and well maintained. We loved our stay, and wish we would have booked more nights at this awesome resort. "

"Oni no sumika is a beautiful ryokan tucked away in Shuzenji. The staff are all extremely kind and accommodating (they do not speak English, so google translator is a must if you’re foreign and they are quick to use it)
The traditional breakfast was great, with many small dishes that leave you satisfied but not full to start your day.
If I am in shuzenji again I will be staying here."

"The location is convenient. Within 15 mins, you can get to the nearby JR station. The onsen was good and the overall experience was very relaxing. The dinning experience was good with local cousin and fresh ingredients. "

"This was simply one of the best accommodation choices I have made in years! My room was large, bright and clean. The bed was huge and comfortable. There was a balcony with a beautiful view of the coast. The manager was very polite, enthusiastic and friendly. He showed how much he values his guests. I had selected a breakfast option before arriving and had delicious local food brought to my room in the morning. Drinks, pool and onsen are all provided in this hotel. I informed the manager that I will definitely be back and he seemed to be pleased.
The village of Usami is lovely and quiet during the week. There are very few shops but the large town of Atami is a short but scenic train journey away (2 trains per hour). "
"Lovely staff, good breakfast. Pool wasn’t open the beginning of July as we hoped but we could still enjoy the pool deck and the beach and ocean were close by and refreshing to swim in."
"This place is a welcomed respite after Tokyo. We enjoyed our time here relaxing. The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was great, and the workers were very helpful. I would stay here again!"
"Very kind staff and clean rooms. I had booked a private bath as my father had a prominent tattoo but the reception was able to provide tattoo covers, which was very kind of them. The surrounding town tends to have quite a bit of cars, and there isn't always a clear sidewalk so potential visitors please keep that in mind. It is about a 10minute walk from Ito Station. Lovely overall, would love to return."
