"Loved this resort with it’s perfect location. Located in the city with bars and restaurants just around the corner and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was very service minded! "

"The staff made this trip amazing. Tom (the manager) was extremely helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. They were not busy (off season) but they still made every effort to accommodate us (ie: bagged breakfast). He gave thought to where to locate us for best security (two women) and privacy. The room was a bit dated, but you could see the efforts they made to upgrade it and keep it clean/nice. We were so happy we booked a second night when the original plan was to stay only one...

"This is one of our favorite places. We come every year sometimes twice a year since we live only about an hour+ away. Though some features have changed over the years. There definitely needs to be more servers tending the pool area. Years ago they would circulate constantly. Also there HAS to be more umbrellas. The sun is blaring and yes it’s great to cool off in the pool, but there has to be more shade too. Seriously, 10 more umbrellas around chairs by the pool would make a massive difference. "
"Easy to navigate and hotel takes you to Lido beach where you can rent chairs/umbrellas and have access to food. You can Uber to Siesta beach and order drinks and food from your chair at the beach. I love that!"

"From the moment we got there and entered the Hotel it was so incredibly beautiful!!! Very clean and well layed out. The rooms were also vey clean and the beds were very comfortable and loved the size of the bathroom. The food is good at the hotel and at the Fish house easy access to the pool and loved that they were open late. Loved the location because it’s a straight shot to Manatee beach. We will definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay had such a wonderful experience!"

I'm leaving this review because there's a staffer who worked with the catered food for the Florida Media Conference: Courtland. He went above and beyond (I have celiac) to make sure I knew which foods were safe. Please thank him for me and know that you need to reward him for being a huge part of making the experience here one I would gladly repeat. The food was amazing, too!"
