8/10 Very good

Nice place, nice views, comfy

We enjoyed our one night stay. The rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was basic but still had several options & was good for what we wanted. Bottled water was left in the room which was a nice bonus.

Convenient spot. A little noisy, from the highway but beds were comfy. A little dated, but perfect for quick stay. Decent breakfast, as well.

I would never recommend this place to anyone - nothing like the photos - very disappointing The rooms smell strongly of febreze The room and the reception/dining area were dirty and unappealing.

Charmingly rustic stay

The Staff was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. The building is rustic and the beds rather uncomfortable BUT!!! this charming motel just needs more people to go there so that they have the funds to do some upgrades. It is worth your while to stay there

Will Definitely Return

Excellent stopover on our way to Newfoundland. The owner is renovating and there is a marked difference compared to our stay in December. Great location. Good breakfast. Wonderful people.

The view was beautiful, the room was a good size, the bed needs to be replaced. Take a shower in the evening or later at night because the hot water wont last. The breakfast was pretty good for the price we paid and the staff were excellent. For an overnight stay it was fine.

Gteat location with lovely views

This Inn is in a great location with lovely views. The owner is a very friendly & nice guy, it looked to us like he is in the process of renovating the property and is doing a good job. The thing that is letting it down is the breakfast , it was of poor quality and the breakfast room isn't very welcoming. This has all the makings of a great place once a few things are tweaked.

The staff was welcoming and offered assistance should it be needed. The room clean and comfortable.

Victoria inn

Ouf !

Foghorn Alarm Clock

The motel was in a good location. Just a short drive from the newfoundland ferry. It definitely needs some updates. I had to use a paper clip to keep the curtain together. The staff was friendly; the breakfast was tasty. I enjoyed being awakened by the low moan of a fog horn.

One night - 190 CAD, for a room with bugs

We stayed for one night while traveling on the Cabot trail. The first thing we saw when we came to the room was 2 centipedes and a big cockroach. The room looked ok. The towels in the bathroom were damp, but seemed clean. Breakfast was just microwave omelet and sausage, cereal, bread, coffee/tea. Nothing else - no yogurts or pancakes or anything like that. For the price that we paid of 190 CAD after tax, it really isn't worth the price.
