It’s an old hotel in Gangnam but VERY convenient to airport bus stop n the Metro. Only complaint was the beds were very hard. A softer mattress or a mattress topper would help. It was the only 3 single bedder we could find in Gangnam but room was very small.

Bottomline up front: I would stay here again. First off ALL of the staff and manager were AWESOME. They all provided top notch service. We stayed there during Chuseok, so unfortunately we did not try the cafe downstairs. But the ambience was warm and welcoming. I used to live in Seoul and knew what to expect from Korean hotels. Beds are Korean style, which some westerners may find uncomfortable; I did not. The staff called cabs for us and took care of all of our needs. Ice is available at front desk (café). PROS: Cost was great. Staff was exceptional; all spoke good English. Near COEX and Han River exercise path. CONS: No microwave in room, but you do have a hot water kettle for ramen and Maxim (coffee). (There is a fridge in the room.)

The bed is uncomfortable. It is not a mattress. It is more of a box spring that is supposed to be under the mattress only. It’s hard to sleep. The springs are visible. Moreover, the phone os not working.

Quite bad actually. Super dated, AC worked only on heating mode on a hot day. The area has absolutely no places to eat, except for Starbucks. The sound proofing doesn’t exist at all so you hear the construction outside, traffic and people in other rooms.

It was a nice location, but not the nicest hotel. There was no hot water for my shower, I came back one night to a large millipede scurrying around the entrance to my room, there were cobwebs underneath the table in the room, and the first night we were there, the clerk randomly opened the door to our room while we were getting ready for the night (he was supposedly trying to help another guest in the next room and forgot which room was which, but the fact that he barged in without knocking first really unsettled me). We decided to put the chain on the door, but even the chain didn’t quite fit into the slot on the door, so it didn’t do much good.
