The hotel’s location is quite good — it’s close to the station, and there are restaurants, convenience stores, a large supermarket nearby. The price is also very reasonable, not expensive at all.
Unfortunately, the soundproofing is really poor. The guests upstairs wouldn’t return until around midnight or even 12:05 every night, and then they’d all take turns showering — you could hear the water running clearly. We could also hear them walking around above us, moving their luggage, and dropping things on the floor. It went on for about two hours each night, and it didn’t quiet down until 2 or 3am. This happened several nights in a row. If you’re very sensitive to noise, do take this into consideration.
I had read other reviews mentioning this issue, but I didn’t think it would affect me since I’m usually not bothered by noise. Still, I was woken up just as I was about to fall asleep, and it didn’t feel great.
Also, to use the toilet at night, you need to climb up to the rooftop, which can be a bit of a hassle. If you’re travelling with young children, this could be quite dangerous — there’s no barrier around the rooftop, so you’ll need to be extra cautious, especially with kids under five
