This was my first experience staying at a B&B though my wife had several stays in New England. John and Karen were friendly but not obtrusive and the breakfast was as better than expected after having hotel hot breakfasts. We were given a menu of choices the night before and it was prepared hot and ready at the agreed on time. The decor featured chickens and was pleasant. We had the ground floor suite which included a private 3 piece bathroom with the shower in the tub. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom included a love seat, comfortable chair, bureau and rolltop desk. The entry of the suite was equipped with a table, chair, microwave, sink, under-counter refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker. When we arrived, John asked if there was a coffee I preferred and when we returned the coffee was there along with half & half that I had mentioned. Our rooms were at the front of the house but we were never disturbed by road noise. There is a common area with a large TV. All and all, I was pleased with my introduction to a B&B.
