About 7 mins walk to the Machiya subway station or Machiya Keisei line train station, a direct access to Narita airport. Supermarket is nearby for grocery shopping and 7-11 / Lawson convenience stores are also nearby. Lots of Yakiniku restaurants nearby for Yakiniku lovers. Everything is good except there is no front desk and no luggage storage service and you can't leave your luggage before checkin or after checkout.

We actually did not stay at this hotel. I gave it five stars because of how they resolved the issue. Nagumo was friendly and helpful in locating a nearby hotel with an elevator. We had reserved Minn Machiya because it had an elevator. What we didn’t realize was that the elevator only goes up to the 6th floor. And we were put on the 7th floor. That was not going to work out because I was traveling with my 81 year-old mother who cannot do stairs. Not only that but the stairs were external. So you take the elevator up to the 6th floor and when you step off the elevator, you’re on a balcony and then you take two flights of stairs that are steep to get to the 7th floor. We were checking in at 9 o’clock at night so it was late and we were tired. After back-and-forth conversations with Nagumo, he was kind enough to help us locate another hotel that he had been to before and that it did have an elevatorn and he fully refunded us for their hotel. Now, nowhere on the hotels.com site did I read anything about no elevator to the 7th floor. Plus, we didn’t know we were going to be on the 7th floor until we checked in. My suggestion is to message the Hotel directly and get this clarified if the elevator is a must for your group.

Stayed with our two teenagers. The kitchen and laundry facilities inn the room were very handy. It was really easy to get anywhere in Tokyo on the nearby train line and buses using a welcome suica card., I loved the quiet streets (no car noise in the room!) and being near the river so I could go running in the morning. It was extremely easy to check in and out as it was fully automated with easy to follow instructions.
