Pleasant stay next to Saint-Emilion

I stayed here with my wife to do the Saint-Emilion (wine) experience for few days during our anniversary trip. We wanted something in a walking distance for food, drinks and stuff but not being in the Saint-Emilion village center. Also the place had to have the "feeling". Clos 1906 could not have been a better discovery. This small hotel is extremely nice and recently renovated with a very good taste. The backyard with a pool is a nice hideout to chill and watch over the hills for vineyards. The hotel is about 1km or so away from Saint-Emilion and less than that from the railway station on a smaller side road. If you feel lazy walk few hundred meters to the closest 1er Grand Cru winery for tasting and stuff. The owners are super cool and you really can enjoy their good service. If you need tips where to go and what to do e.g. in Bordeaux or Arcachon follow their advise.
