Beautiful Florence Glamping

After staying at the Hu campground in Rome, we took a train up to Florence. I’m so glad we booked with Hu and we wished it had been an option in Rapallo! We stayed in a bungalow which was perfect for the two of us. The grounds and surrounding area were gorgeous. Access to multiple pools, a restaurant and market were huge perks! Additionally, there is a bus stop right out front that takes you straight into town. If I find myself in Florence again (and I hope I do) I would definitely stay here again!

HU was great. Florence is a beautiful but it is a zoo. It was nice to stay at HU away from the crowds. We drove from Sienna and were able to check in early. Our cabin was lovely. The pizza at the restaurant was some of the best we had in Italy. The 14 bus (14A on the ride back) was only a 20 min. ride. My kids loved the pools way more than the Uffizi. Wish we had more time to lounge by the pools. It was nice to see how Europeans vacation.

Fantastic stay in a great gated property. Our room is spacious and very clean. We liked the facilities and environment. They also have a mini mart and a restaurant inside the campground which made everything so convenient. We would love to visit again.

We really loved this solution for a family visit to a place like Florence, where we wanted to visit the Renaissance sites and see the art but also entertain the children. On our three-week trip around mainland Europe, this was the best stay for our kids. We were fortunate to get warm, sunny weather and they were able to enjoy the pool. Our cabin (or whatever it's called) was amazingly clean when we arrived and was perfect for us as a family of four. We ate at the restaurant once and it was good.

Nice place but no shuttle bus

The camping site was really nice, and the staff were really friendly. Not the best beds in mobile home. We booked this place for a 3 night stay, because we thought the camping site had their own shuttle bus, but they didn't. We had to take an overcrowded local bus 30 min each way to Florence. If we had known this we would never had booked this.

The property was very clean and had everything we needed, especially air conditioning! It was essential to use the public bus service as it is too far to walk into the centre and not possible to use the car. The service was not totally reliable the week we stayed although not expensive if you pay using contactless.
