Good solo accommodation option, very close to buses that go directly into inner London or a short work to various tube stations. Rooms are basic but functional and not bad size-wise compared with many budget hotel options. The included cooked/fresh/continental breakfast buffet is excellent and staff were helpful with queries and response to maintenance issues.

Central stay at a bargain price.

The rooms are basic, beds are not the most comfortable, but for the price in central London it’s amazing. The breakfast is top quality with so many options and all of the catering staff are lovely and helpful. You can easily walk into soho in 30 mins from here, or there’s a bus stop right outside. Nearest tube station is only 5 mins walk away.

Less than ideal cleanliness

A warm welcome from the staff but the room was musty/smelly with dirty carpets and very thin curtains that let light enter from the courtyard. If you're really on a budget then try it but for £30-40 more you can find a hotel with en-suite and proper housekeeping.

The accommodation was adequate for what was required. Notice could be provided if bed and bathroom linen were to be provided, they were, thankfully! Clean place, and although was sharing the barthroom with 12 other rooms, I only saw one other person in there at one time.

Beds are comfortable enough. Breakfast is superb, so much choice. I’ve stayed in all inclusive with fewer choices! Can be a little noisy up until 11pm, but ok after that. Would definitely stay again.

I was a bit dubious about a hotel with breakfast in London for £61....but our Stay at LSE was excellent. The rooms are basic but very clean, no TV or coffee making facilities in your room...but you have access to a kitchen and a recreation room. All staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was first rate with lots of cold/hot selections and plenty of it. I will happily recommend and will return. Thank you

Quick and simple to check in. Good value for money and convenient location. Breakfast was good (similar in style, albeit with a little less choice, too a premier inn). Areas for improvement - water availability is ok, but it's on the warm side.

A night in Finsbury…

Great location. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Shared bathrooms fine (tho one shower out of order). A bit noisy inside at night - because the walls are v thin, and the doors bang quite loudly (weighted for fire safety) - the bed was fine tho, so maybe just take some ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.
