This property is conveniently located. The check in process was nice and it was a quiet place to settle. The outside area had a nice ambiance with a fire pit, docks, kayaks to use and a place to sit near the water. The beds were comfortable and the room was cozy. There was a mildew/mold smell in the room that was helped by turning the air conditioner on.

This was a cute little off the road place but the rustic cuteness that we like for the UP of Michigan. Other than a small leak, where there was a spot of wet carpet, the bed was comfortable. The TV was good and a clean shower was all we needed. Price was fair as well.

Quaint and comfy
Rm was what to expect from a small independent hotel. It was dated but clean and comfortable as any motel Could use more electric plugs. Don’t know how to travel without our electronics!

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Bear Paw Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. There’s kayaks and fishing available on the property. You can have a campfire or use their grill to cook out. Nice place to get the up north experience, if you don’t have your own cabin on a lake. We will come back again.

Sufficient for road trips
Arrived after office hours but they had printed out my receipt and put it and our room key in an envelope taped to the office door. Thank you! Property had horseshoes, corn hole, chaise loungers for use. It's an old property still in the 60's. But we were there to sleep not get fashion tips.

We enjoyed our three night stay here. The room was clean. We did some fishing off the dock. It was nice to have a fire pit to use. The front desk was friendly. They have a grill, horseshoes, and some other amenities. We ate at the bar/restaurant a couple times. Its just down the road. Played some Keno. I would stay here again when in the area.

Clean for the mosquitoes
We were eaten alive by mosquitoes. Must have gotten 30 of them. If I'd wanted that, I'd camp.
