Positives: Air Condition that works - very few ACs can keep up with heatwaves (90+) but this hotel AC worked Location - close enough to all the attractions but not too close to be too loud. Negatives: Not as clean and the beds are so-so and some odd smells Bathroom setup for non-solo travelers - family are just odd in that they are open

Fantastic location to wonder around Amsterdam with great restaurants and bars all nearby. Staff were super friendly and remembered our name. Clean, quiet, and staff was very helpful with recommendations on restaurants and transportation to airport. The sink is outside the shower and toilet area, and no way for one to turn on lights without disturbing the sleepy one.

This hotel bills its rooms as "suites." They are NOT. Perfectly acceptable hotel rooms, perhaps a touch larger than some European city-center hotels, but definitely not suites. Handy to 2 groceries, lots of bars & restaurants & takeout places within two blocks. Superb staff was very helpful. Half hour walk to the train station, or 10 minutes to a tram stop that goes to the train station. Wheelchair accessible IF you can use a regular bathroom.
