Great boutique hotel in the middle of Old City, a short stroll to the Thapae Walking street ( Sunday Markets) as well as the many beautiful temples in the area. Close also to a couple of 7 -11's as well as cafes and restaurants. Staff were great and the accommodations were very comfortable!

Quaint boutique hotel!

This hotel was lovely! The staff were very kind and the property was very clean and well kept. It is located on a side street on the west side of the Ancient City, which I found to be more quiet than the east side. Wat Phra Singh was a very short walk away. And a 7-11 was very close by too. The hotel has a restaurant on site, which had good food and excellent service.
Stairs but also had an elevator available.

This is a charming hotel with gracious, friendly and helpful staff. While in the old town, it is down a small street, so it is quiet and you wake to birdsong and not street traffic. Being in the old town, it is within easy walking distance of many temples, night markets and dining/shopping areas. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved this place. It’s affordable, clean, spacious. The breakfast is in a beautiful terrace. It has a nice pool. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Not a good location, can be pretty quiet if you try walking back to the hotel and is far from main road. But is a beautiful classic hotel, small and compare room with everythings you needed in it. Friendly staff and very helpful when in need.

Very quaint small hotel right in the heart of Chiang Mai's Old City. The small pool is lovely on those hot days after exploring the city. Staff is extremely friendly and the place was spotless. The Charcoa is a beautiful and unique boutique hotel in a quiet area that is nonetheless 5 minutes from a main road. It has about a dozen rooms (named after characters from The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings), so it's personal. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful and very friendly. Our room was spacious and bright, with a very comfortable bed and a big bath. All around great stay.
