Place has potential if the can evict the bugs

Infested with roaches. Saw a fair share of ants. Beds had bed bug track marks everywhere, luckily did not see any bedbugs. Bathroom had black kold on the ceiling around 20% covered. No smoke detectornin the room either

It clearly shows/says pet friendly (plus the guy behind counter had a dog walking around freely behind desk) plus I rode thru and seen two other people walking dogs, but refuse me saying no pets(my dog is a small 11yr old Chihuahua). I’ve stayed here n past n I totally understand ur policies, but why were there dogs(when a Ppr says no pets) even tho it says online pet friendly plus people have pets there as well that are bigger than a chihuahua!

This is advertised as a three star hotel but it is not. It is oriented to providing housing for people who are in poverty and likely can't afford rents. Though I pad close to $300 USD on Expedia, a big sign outside the place says $49/night and offers weekly fees. This is fine, but not what I had in mind as a single woman who got stuck in Houston during a layover and couldn't find a hotel. It felt extremely unsafe - I had to cross three dark parking lots to get to my room and the one person I ran into thought that I owed them money (I had never met them). I ended up requesting a refund because I felt so unsafe spending the night there. Expedia should really do much more diligence before listing this as a 3 star hotel because the false description may leave people feeling very unsafe.

The manager and other clerk is rude and very disrespectful, they have no clue how to do their job. The white older lady be smoking in the lobby area while customer waited to be checked in. She cursed me out while I was on phone and was not being rude to her at all.

2/10 Poor

Starting positively: the toilet and the bedsheets were clean. For the rest: the room looked being plundered for spare parts (for other rooms?). The room had only one light operated from the frontdoor step. No waterboiler or coffeemaker, no bin for waste, no smokedetector, electric mirror in the bathroom severely damaged, curtain not fully closeable, AC can not be switched off. Further more: the rooms are located next to a 24/7 busy interstate thus noisy. To make it worse, George Bush IAH approach is leading straight over this hotel. Residents were very noisy too. Conclusion: BAD Choice, never again, at least not for me.

Run do not walk away from this place. Room was roach infested. Bedding smelled of smoke although it was a non-smoking room. Bathtub had peeling surfaces and large rust rings. Microwave contained a broken turntable and looks to have never been cleaned. Remote was not provided for television. Walls were filthy. Door to room did not lock. Money may be tight, but you can find better for your money. This place should be condemned.

North Villa 2nd Trip

This was the second time I’ve stayed here. I’m easy going and try to live life by Alain back schedule, so I’m horrible about checking in and checking out on time. The overnight staff/possibly owners are amazing. They are open, honest, and fast. One of the guys had the cutest little pug dog that reminded me of the one my grandparents had when I was growing up. I was there overnight just trying to spend a little mini vacation night away from home with my son which I do a lot. He loved the dog and the little four legged friend was just as friendly as he could be. Again the only issue I had with this property was the black lady who works the desks in the morning. When I asked if I could check out at noon instead of 11, she didn’t care that it was Christmas Day when I had stayed there or that i was waiting on my sons mom to come pick him up and take him back home and she was running late on getting him. She slowed me no explanation and she just said the only time we allow check out is 11, then this time she actually was walking up to my room at 11 as I was walking out to make sure I left on time. Overall I’d still give the plAce 3 stars. Would have been 5 stars if not for the negativity of that front desk lady. Either way, I’m a gold member for a reason. I stay in hotels a lot with work and even though I like the this little spot for the most part, the facts are, there are a lot of other places who don’t mind if I check out at noon or one. So I’ll probly go there next time
