Quiet and convenient
Sky Boutique was convenient for our two-day trip to Frieze Art Fair at Santa Monica Airport. Overall, the location is quiet and the awning over the courtyard kept the morning light out in the morning. The courtyard provided serene atmosphere I wish I was able to use more during my stay.

Decent room
Front desk is super nice and sweet. Room is clean. Bathroom shower is clogged and the water isn’t draining properly. We had to wait until it’s drained to be able to use the shower.

Disappointed
My stay was disappointing. The room wasn't properly prepared, and there was no humidifier inside, so I had to go to the front desk to borrow one. Additionally, although the parking lot wasn't crowded, I was still charged an extra $20 for parking, which felt unnecessary. The room had noticeable dust, which made it feel unclean and uncomfortable. Overall, the experience didn't meet my expectations, and I will not be returning in the future. It’s clear that more attention to detail is needed for a better guest experience.

2/10 Poor

Disappointing
Their website is nothing like the condition of the hotel. It shows a nice cocktail bar which I found out hasn’t been open since Covid. The condition of the lobby area is quite shabby. They leave a large yellow trolley with all of their linens in the sitting area all the time. They had a workout room that holds old lamps and whatever they are not using in the various rooms. Tbe rooms are very dark since the windows only open to their courtyard no outside facing windows. But the rooms were clean, bedding was adequate. Not a place I would ever consider in the future.

"Boutique"?
Boutique is code for old and rundown with a fresh but poorly applied coat of paint. The walls are very thin and contribute to the very noisy nightime experience. None of the little conveniences that we have come to expect from even the most common national hotel chains. Parking is $20 a night and feels like just another way to pry money out of my wallet. The parking lot is not shared with another business so I'm a little confused as to why a charge at all. We had to ask for towels and washcloths every night as there was always a reason they hadn't been replaced. It was clean, I'll give them that. The staff was friendly. It's a bed and bathroom motel that is pretty clean. If that's your expectation, then you should be fine.

Evacuation Experience
I was evacuated and they still wanted to charge for parking. It wasn’t the money but the fact. A lot of hotels offered evacuation rates. It also wasn’t nearly as nice in person but it was clean and it was a bed

6/10 Good

Paid $20 for parking in an empty lot in the back, this was not advertised. Staff was nice. The room was fine but not comfortable. Decor is random. The surrounding area is not safe after dark by foot. Fine for a night but won’t be returning.
