    Dirty hotel, the matress was very old and the room was very dirty. Seems that wasn't cleaned before the arrival. It's sad because it has the best spot on the beach. If the hotel changes and take care of the costumers it will be top but sadly, not now

    Do not stay here.

    We didn't stay. From the owner asking us how much we paid to dodging a clothesline of underwear it was terrible. We had one look at the dirty room and the unsafe accommodation and left. Do not stay here. We stayed at the flora bay resort. Cheaper, cleaner and much nicer.

    Avoid this place. We stayed here in July 2025 for 4 days and it was a disaster. Before arrival, no response from the property despite multiple attempts. They also provided wrong info about boat schedules from Kuala Besut (boats actually leave every 40 min). Day 1: The place looked abandoned,unfinished buildings, scaffolding, and garbage everywhere. No reception,just a guy at the bar watching loud videos on his phone. He didn’t speak English, so we used the translator. He refused early check-in, probably to sell us a drink during the wait. The sea view room was dirty: stained sheets, hair and dirt in the bathroom, sewer smell, a broken mirror, and no hot water. Complaining didn’t help. Day 2: The day after, we asked if the problem had been fixed. He told us he hadn’t been able to fix it and that a part needed to be ordered, which would arrive the following day. We asked for a different room, but that wasn’t possible. Other guests also stood waiting at “reception” for hours with no help. Day 3: A manager finally showed up and spoke English, but instead of fixing anything, he offered us snacks and a cocktail. He then said it was a public holiday and repairs would be done the next day. We were promised a room change if the issue persisted. Too late, we had only one day left and were showering using the bidet shower. Day 4: Shower was finally fixed. In short: Structure is falling apart, staff is incompetent, and hygiene is unacceptable. Save your holiday, book elsewhere.

    It had a lot of bad reviews in here but I thought it could not be so bad, but unfortunately it was. The bathroom conditions were horrible and there were many insects such as spiders in the room. The whole property seems to not have been taken care for years. Also when you get to the place the real name of the hotel is Empire which sounds a bit suspicious to have a different name from the listing here. I certainly would recommend any other place in the island.

    Nous avons rĂ©servĂ© 3 nuits et nous ne sommes restĂ©s qu’une nuit tellement les conditions Ă©taient horribles. Pas de chasse d’eau, pas d’eau chaude, une chambre trĂšs sale Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, des coupures de courant, la chambre n’était pas hermĂ©tique : cafards, milles pĂątes. Jet douche cassĂ© ainsi que les portes de celle-ci. MalgrĂ© que la plage soit magnifique, les dĂ©chets sont jetĂ©s Ă  l’extrĂ©mitĂ© de celle-ci, laissant un endroit sale de ce cĂŽtĂ©. Bref trĂšs mauvaise expĂ©rience. Je ne recommande pas, et expĂ©dia ne devrait pas nous proposer ce genre de logements DĂ©goĂ»tants

    À notre arrivĂ© sur l'Ăźle personne pour nous aider Ă  porter les valises. On a marchĂ© avec nos valises plus de 10 mn sur le sable. RĂ©ception la personne qui nous a reçu ne comprenait pas et parlait pas l'anglais. On a demandĂ© plusieurs fois pour payer l'hĂŽtel mais impossible de nous faire comprendre vu qu'on avait toujours Ă  faire Ă  la mĂȘme personne. Ils nous ont envoyĂ© un message pour nous dire qu'on Ă©tait parti sans payer trĂšs agrĂ©able de recevoir ce genre de messages. Niveau hygiĂšne le 1er la chambre Ă©tait sale et est restĂ©e sale jusqu'Ă  notre dĂ©part. Pas une seule fois ils sont venus faire la chambre et vider la poubelle c'Ă©tait Ă  nous de le faire honteux. Heureusement qu'on a pas pris le petit-dĂ©jeuner car c'Ă©tait infecte. Franchement cet hĂŽtel ne le proposez plus car c'est une honte tellement il est sale et moche. TrĂšs mauvaise expĂ©rience. La seule chose de magnifique c'Ă©tait la vue de la plage

    PrĂ©cisons tout d'abord que nous avions la chambre de 4 avec vue sur la mer. Celle ci apparaĂźt comme l'une des plus rĂ©centes. La chambre Ă©tait parfaite mais ma salle de bain Ă©tait dĂ©plorable surtout pour le prix payĂ©. Mais l'emplacement dans cette super baie, calme, dotĂ©e par ailleurs de bons restaurants accessibles et bon marchĂ© permet de faire passer les aspects nĂ©gatifs. Les commentaires lus avant notre arrivĂ©e sont parfois excessifs nous semblent il mais sont comprĂ©hensibles lorsqu'on compare le prix Ă©levĂ© et le service donnĂ©. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais et n'est pas vraiment Ă  l'Ă©coute ni vĂ©ritablement serviable. Avec le dĂ©faut de propretĂ© le prix peut paraĂźtre vraiment excessif. Mais le sĂ©jour dans cette baie reste merveilleux : beautĂ©, plage, spots snorkeling magnifiques et accessibles Ă  pieds et Ă  la nage. Bref, si vous n'ĂȘtes pas trop regardant sur le confort de la salle de bain et que vous avez la chambre deluxe... Le sĂ©jour est tout Ă  fait recommendable!

    Wer einen westlichen Standard erwartet, wird beim Empire Hotel (aktueller Name) enttĂ€uscht sein. Trotz vieler negativer Bewertungen, wollte ich dem Laden eine Chance geben. Letztendlich war uns die direkte Umgebung das entscheidende und wegen der 3 NĂ€chte die Unterkunft weniger wichtig. Paar von den frĂŒheren Kritikpunkten kann ich durchaus bestĂ€tigen. Die Kommunikation mit dem kaum englisch sprechenden Gastgeber war mĂŒhsam und kleine MissverstĂ€ndnisse vorprogrammiert. Unser Badezimmer war im desolaten Zustand (KlospĂŒlung defekt, Duschwanne undicht etc.) aber das Schlafzimmer mit dem Meerblick war sauber und die Betten voll in Ordnung. Auch die Klimaanlage hat gut funktioniert. Am ersten Abend hatten wir im hauseigenen Restaurant gegessen aber teilweise falsches Essen bekommen und auf eins der Hauptgerichte noch eine Stunde warten mĂŒssen. Da kam der bestellte Fisch auch noch gedĂŒnstet und nicht gebraten wie bestellt. Vielleicht auch der erschwerten Kommunikation verschuldet, schwer zu sagen. Das FrĂŒhstĂŒck war einfach aber ausreichend. Auch der Laundry Service hat funktioniert, wobei fĂŒr den Preis hĂ€tte die WĂ€sche noch etwas sauberer (WaschmittelrĂŒckstĂ€nde) und zusammengelegt sein sollen. DafĂŒr dass wir so kurzfristig gebucht haben und nur noch wenig Auswahl hatten, waren wir mit dem Aufenthalt zufrieden. Der Flora Beach ist einer der schönsten StrĂ€nde auf den Inseln und das Empire Hotel am Ende des Strandes an der allerschönsten Stelle. Das alleine verdient 5 Sterne!

    Das Empire oder Eco Marine ist doch sehr einfach und selbst als sehr einfache Unterkunft anzusehen. Wir hatten ein Superior Room und bis auf die Betten, gab es nichts. Keine Ablage, kein Regal. Es gab auch keine BettbezĂŒge, die Bettdecken waren so dreckig, dass wir unter unseren BadetĂŒchern geschlafen haben. Leider kann das Personal vor Ort kein Englisch, was es einfach noch viel schwieriger macht. Der Strand dagegen ist ein Traum und aus meiner Sicht ist der zugehörige Strandabschnitt auch der Schönste in der Flora Bay. Hoszel nur geeignet fĂŒr wirklich sehr geringe AnsprĂŒche.

    Le personnel est trÚs sympa et trÚs serviable surtout Alan, et il cuisine vraiment bien. La douche est vraiment pas terrible, l'eau coule trÚs trÚs doucement et le lavabo le robinet n'ai pas trop fixer et la porte coulissante est vraiment bien abßmée donc trÚs difficile de fermer la porte.

    Le restaurant est beaucoup trop cher pour la qualitĂ©. Tarif laundry prohibitif. Les chambres sont rudimentaires. Il n'y a aucune Ă©tagĂšre ou autre pour poser ses affaires. De l'enduit sur le carrelage de la salle de bain. Donc des amĂ©liorations pourraient ĂȘtre faites assez facilement. Si on accepte la frugalitĂ©, l'hĂŽtel est trĂšs bien situĂ©. Plage calme et jolie.     Difficile de donner un avis sur cet hostel. J’étais le seul client ! Le jeune homme sur place est trĂšs serviable et m’a bien accueilli et Ă  Ă©tĂ© trĂšs professionnel. En revanche, je ne suis pas trĂšs difficile mais l’électricitĂ© qui se coupe en pleine nuit (1ere nuit sur place) et t donc plus de Clim. De il n’y a pas d’électricitĂ© entre 7h et 9h am. Puis de 5h Ă  7h pm. Un problĂšme qui serait passager
 En revanche il y’a de la wifi de bonne qualitĂ© et ventilateur et climatiseur dans le dortoir. Niveau rapport qualitĂ©/prix, le compte n’y est pas.
