We were so impressed with Hotel El Camino that we extended our stay by an extra 5 nights. If you are up to it you can easily walk to the Reynosa-Hidalgo International Bridge and venture into Texas or take a bus. There are 2 big supermarkets close by and any number of food eateries in close walking distance. The staff are fantastic and nothing was a problem even with our extremely limited spanish.

Best kept secret in Reynosa

El Camino is a very nice place to stay in Reynosa. The staff are all very friendly and professional and helpful. The grounds are very well maintained and clean. Room is cleaned immaculately everyday with fresh towels and linens. The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a pool and fountain as well as a great gym. Excellent air conditioning. Parking is very convenient, covered and privately maintained at all times. Very safe. There is a restaurant attached that offers breakfast daily, but i did not use during my stay. My room had a very nice working refrigerator with freezer, as well as a nice microwave and coffeemaker. El Camino is a nice pleasant oasis to stay while visiting the beautiful city of Reynosa and is in a great central location with access close to many ammenities

Suite was Nice 👍, service could be more friendly. Receptionist could be more friendly and out going. Dining food was limited to the same few items. Better food choices in the buffet. Exercise room way too small and pool hours should be extended to midnight

The only down side was the check in was at 3:00 pm the receptionist told us the rooms were not ready we got the room at arround 4:00 pm. Other than that all good clean room.

Toilets clogged, dead roach Bodies, old coffee in coffee pot. Sink had no water pressure. Continental breakfast was ehh. This hotel has 4 ballrooms for events, keep in mind if you want quiet, this is not the spot for you. Service was ok, that's why i hate them 3 🌟
