Comfortable bed & good location

The hotel is above a pub, which is no issue at all & check in was easy & the room was available early for us to drop off our bags. Although the photos show breakfast, there is none available. Apparently it was withdrawn over a year ago. The room was decent & the bed very comfortable. The shower was nice too. Would have been nice to have a working plug socket. My phone was on charge over night, only in the morning did I realise there was no power going to it. Some improvement to be made, but overall a decent stay.

Very Small room stayed 4 nights staff only cleaned room one time. Ran out of toilet paper and towels had to ask for some more because room wasn’t being cleaned. We were put on the 3rd floor spiral stairs all the way up not for the weak especially after walking around as a tourist all day, the stairs were our end of the day nightmare, also not real good with luggage either. There was no breakfast or coffee in the morning as shown in the pictures on the site if you’re looking for a room just to sleep and Found no luxury at all and don’t mind walking up three flights of stairs. This is the place for you if not, don’t stay here.

Good location but not quite the standard the photos showed. A lot of things were falling apart, like door handles and hooks. The carpet was old and broken, the hair dryer was hanging in a cable from the wall.

Cool place to stay, it’s over the Duke of York pub! Older building beautifully refurnished. The rainfall shower stall was awesome. Bhargav is an excellent host and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
